He tells Gopal that Anu was wrongly accused in the bribery case, and the storm she went through wasn’t her fault. He explains that he has found the real culprit and cleared Anu’s name completely. Gopal listens without interrupting, but his face stays stiff with worry and hurt. When Arya mentions that he wants Anu to return to the office with respect, Gopal finally reacts. He refuses without hesitation. He tells Arya that Anu will not step into his office again, and this is his final decision.
The words fall heavily between everyone. Anu feels the pain instantly — the job she wants, the dream she built, and the bond she shares with Arya, everything stands at a crossroads because of Gopal’s fear and heartbreak. Arya is equally shaken. He expected resistance, but this is a wall he didn’t see coming.
