It all begins early in the morning when the household is jolted awake by Smita’s angry outburst. She stands in the living room with her bags packed, declaring that she can no longer stay with Prateek because, according to her, the Suryavanshi family has lost all its financial stability. The revelation stuns everyone, especially because she makes it clear that she does not want a husband who cannot provide the lifestyle she desires.
Raghav steps forward to calm the rising chaos, but Smita hits him harder than anyone expects. She throws back the taunt that he once left his first wife for another woman, that he chased promises he could not keep, and that he still does not have the courage to give his first wife a final closure. Her bitterness drips venom, and the family watches silently as every wound is ripped open in front of them.

Today, caught red-handed while sneaking out, she finally admits she is leaving him for someone else.

Raghav tries to offer financial help, but Smita snaps that she doesn’t want charity from a family sinking in crisis. She blames Raghav for dragging everyone down, for causing divisions within the house, and for ruining the stability she wanted from marriage.
