She applies the mixture with sincerity, hoping to heal both the skin irritation and the tension boiling in the house. Saru keeps her tone soft, assuring Tara that the paste will calm her skin and she will look perfect for her award ceremony. Tara listens in stony silence before unleashing a blow sharper than any wound Saru has carried till now. She says her true award would be seeing Saru walk out of Ved’s life forever. She mocks Saru’s efforts, accusing her of using kindness to manipulate Ved and win back his affection. Tara declares she will never allow any healing — not of her face, not of the relationship.
Saru stands shattered, but Tara is far from done. She suddenly screams for the family, clutching her face dramatically. She claims Saru applied something harmful to disfigure her. The family rushes in, and Tara builds her story with practiced tears. She insists that Saru attempted to ruin her appearance deliberately. Ved freezes, troubled by the possibility. Tara clings to him, crying that she trusted Saru but Saru wanted revenge.

She will not let Tara harm herself further just to accuse her again.
Before leaving, Saru pauses at the door. The home she tried so hard to turn into her own now feels like a battlefield where her sincerity is constantly punished. She steps out with a heavy heart, deciding that her distance may calm everyone — or at least stop Tara from staging more drama.
Ved arrives too late. He sees her walking away and calls out once, but Saru does not turn back. The silence between them feels like a crack that may take much longer to mend. Tara watches from behind, victorious for now, believing she has finally pushed Saru out of Ved’s life.
