Anu spends the evening wrapped in Arya’s sweater, quite literally cloaked in his warmth and memories. She holds it close, matching its softness with her shy smile. For the first time, she feels the comfort of knowing that her feelings are no longer one-sided. Wearing the sweater becomes her way of feeling connected to him, especially when she knows he is about to travel far away.
Arya prepares to leave for London. Between flight timings, last-minute meetings and Meera’s updates, his mind still circles back to one person. Before stepping into the airport, he calls Anu, surprising her in the sweetest way. Her voice instantly melts into relief; she admits that she was missing him already. Arya tries hiding his own emotions, but the smile on his face gives him away. He tells her he has something important to share—his mother Gayatri has been wanting to speak to Anu. He sends Gayatri’s number to her and gently asks her to call. Anu is stunned yet thrilled to hear this unexpected progress in their relationship.
Meanwhile, Siddhi Maa arrives at Arya’s house. She meets Gayatri and gives her a hopeful prediction. Anu gathers courage and calls Gayatri. It’s a huge moment for her. Gayatri answers the call, unaware of who is on the other side. The moment Anu softly introduces herself, Gayatri freezes. She feels something warm and familiar in Anu’s voice, almost as if destiny itself has dialed the number. They exchange gentle, emotional greetings, forming their very first connection—one built on respect, intuition and pure affection.
But just as Gayatri begins talking, a strange noise erupts from the locked room. She abruptly stops the call. The eerie, rhythmic thudding from behind the closed door grows louder. Gayatri panics and rushes toward it, covering her ears as the sounds intensify. She trembles in fear, as if the room is guarding a secret that refuses to stay hidden. She tries shutting her ears, frightened that the truth she has avoided for years is pulling her again toward that shadowy corner of the house.
Anu remains confused on her end, unaware of the storm Gayatri is facing. Yet there is a strange sense of belonging that settles in her heart after their brief conversation. She feels she has just crossed an invisible distance between them.
