Anu begins her morning in panic as she calls Gayatri to reveal the heartbreaking truth she has been hiding since dawn. She admits that she had spent sleepless nights painting a saree specially for Gayatri’s birthday, a saree woven with jasmine motifs and her own emotions, but it has gone missing from her house. She feels helpless, guilty and unsure of how to make things right. Gayatri looks at the same hand-painted saree resting safely with her and smiles with relief. She knows Anu’s sincerity without needing an explanation. She gently tells Anu that the saree is with her, and she absolutely loves it. Anu is stunned to hear this, not knowing how the saree she lost ended up in Gayatri’s hands.
A wave of gratitude hits Gayatri as she expresses her wish to meet Anu in person. She asks Anu to come home immediately. Anu rushes out with tears of relief and happiness mixing together. Meeting Gayatri feels like a blessing she has been waiting for, the kind that could free her from the weight of panic and guilt she has carried since last night.
