Her mother insists that Raghav doesn’t care for her, that he is still lost in Reet, and that their daughter will ruin her life if she insists on marrying into this cursed family. Kirti, however, stands her ground. She doesn’t want to walk away while Raghav is drowning in grief and guilt. She decides to stay and support him, even if it breaks her heart.
Meanwhile, Poonam’s rage hits its peak. She orders the inspector again and again to arrest Reet. Raghav demands immediate action too, believing that Reet has committed an unforgivable crime. He doesn’t allow her to make a call or defend herself. Reet stands strong even as everyone pushes her toward punishment. The inspector finally snaps and reveals the truth. He tells them the entire police force was involved in a secret operation to help Reet expose her father’s real killer. He clarifies that the supposed body is part of a staged plan to trap Sharda and force her confession.
Shock waves ripple through the room. Before anyone can process this, Viren begins to move. Gasps erupt. Poonam collapses in disbelief as Viren opens his eyes, confused and weak but very much alive. The drama shatters instantly. Sharda loses her balance, realizing she has been tricked from the start. The police reveal that Reet came to them earlier, and with senior officers’ approval, they created this elaborate trap because Sharda’s crime was too buried to uncover through normal means.
Reet finally tells them she did not kill anyone. She merely staged the murder to force the truth out. Viren himself asks why he is on a stretcher and why Reet was pouring water over him. The family watches in silence as the truth unravels further. The police confirm that their goal was to catch the criminal behind the unsolved murder of Reet’s father—an old case that had stained their department.
