The episode begins with Deepa taking her place among the participants in the cycle competition. As she cycles forward, she overhears the host announcing the prizes—an AC for the winner, a fridge for second place, and a cycle for third. The words sting her heart for a moment because she knows why she’s really here today. The cycle isn’t just a prize; it’s her little Jyoti’s long-delayed wish. She recalls how she failed to buy the bicycle earlier, and that memory tightens her resolve. Jyoti’s cheering voice pushes her forward. Deepa keeps cycling with all the strength her tired life still carries, and in the end, she deliberately settles for third place—choosing the cycle instead of the bigger prizes.
Meanwhile, the spotlight shifts to the stage where Himanshi arrives to announce the Miss Hyderabad winner. Kanika’s family waits breathlessly. Himanshi reveals Kanika as the crowned winner, and joy erupts on both sides of the screen. At home, Chitralekha dances with pride, soaking in the validation she believes the world owes her. Kanika receives her crown gracefully, glowing in victory.
Back at the competition, Jyoti jumps with joy seeing the cycle. Some of the onlookers ask Deepa why she didn’t take first place when she was leading earlier. Deepa replies softly that she only wanted the cycle for her daughter, not the expensive appliances. The answer melts the crowd for a moment—because behind her struggles stands a mother who always chooses her child over herself.
The host calls the chief guest on stage, and Deepa freezes when she sees Karthik walking in. The past floods her mind before she can steady herself. When her name is announced for the third prize, she steps up reluctantly. Karthik is stunned to see her standing in front of him after all these years. He hands her the cycle, trying to bridge the distance in one conversation. He tells her that the past wasn’t his fault, and all he wants now is her trust. Deepa doesn’t give in to the moment. She tells him clearly—he isn’t worthy of trust anymore. She leaves the stage with Jyoti and hands her the cycle outside.
Karthik stands frozen for a moment, watching Deepa walk away. The past that once broke them now pricks him with regret. He decides not to return home until he earns her forgiveness. He searches for directions to Deepa’s home from passersby, but the road doesn’t lead him to her today.
Meanwhile, Kanika returns home triumphantly. The family gathers around her with pride. Kailashnath blesses her, and Chitralekha turns the moment into a personal celebration, performing warding rituals. Kanika, however, coldly ignores Kanchan and Ranjit when they congratulate her. Bhagyasree questions her behaviour, and Kanika bluntly says she’s upset because Karthik didn’t come to meet her before she left for the contest. Kanchan and Ranjit tease her lightly, but Kanika refuses to smile. Mahindra sends her to rest for the evening’s party, but Kanika insists she and Karthik’s parents won’t move until he returns home.
Deepa and Jyoti return to their small house, exhausted but carrying the hope of a cycle-shaped victory. Vijayanti immediately taunts Deepa, demanding to know where she got the money. Jyoti proudly explains how Deepa took third place in the competition to win the bicycle for her. Vijayanti dismisses it with another hurtful remark, leaving Deepa silently holding her dignity yet again.

A debtor approaches Deepa and shamelessly asks her to consider him as her husband in exchange for forgetting her dues. Deepa slaps him in fury. He later returns with a mob, announcing that her husband took a loan six years ago and vanished. Deepa declares she will find her husband and repay every penny.
