Saru 10th December 2025 Written Update: Ved’s Clever Act Pleases Dadi. The episode opens on a delicious reversal. Anika is the one screaming now, not Saru. She stands stuck in glue, trapped and panicking, while a fake snake slides towards her. Saru coolly tells her there is no need to shout so much, because everything here is fake, just like Anika’s courage. Phulla laughs that Anika’s condition has turned weak in fear. Saru reminds her how she had once tried to trap Saru in wet cement, never imagining the same fate could circle back. Saru clearly states that she knows Anika is the one who got her stuck in the storeroom, and that the truth is out. Anika’s helper calls to confirm that he has already sent Anika the video of Ved saving Saru, as per her instructions, and that nobody will know Anika was behind it. Saru steps closer and offers to help break the hardened glue, but not without a lesson.
She picks up a pot of boiling hot water and says it will free Anika’s feet, but it might burn her skin. Anika panics and screams at her to stop. Saru’s tone turns warning. She reminds Anika that she too had been trapped and only survived because Ved reached her in time, and that in spite of all Anika’s power as the college owner, not even one person has come to help her today. Saru firmly tells Anika to decide whether she wants to see Saru’s peaceful form or her fierce form from now on, and then walks away with Phulla, leaving Anika shaken.
At home, Annapurna fights her own turmoil. She admits to herself that she remained silent for many days thinking Ved was standing with Saru, but now she has seen that Saru is struggling alone in the city. She decides that she can no longer tolerate the injustice and must speak to Saru directly. At the café, the harshness of Saru’s reality is brutally visible. The manager orders her to hurry up, reminding her that two staff members are already on leave, so she has to manage a double shift. When Saru and Phulla protest that she hasn’t eaten anything since morning, he coldly tells her that if she wants salary, she has to work, not talk. Saru pushes aside her own hunger and tells Phulla that this job is their fuel now. Their studies, dreams and future are all depending on this one income.
Annapurna arrives at the café and spots Saru running around with a tired face, while the manager barks orders. She also notices Ved sitting there, silently watching everything, and assumes he is doing nothing to support his wife. She decides that before confronting Saru, she needs to talk to Ved. Before she can step up, another scene begins to play out. Ved corners the manager privately and starts a calm conversation. He remarks that the café has grown quite popular and looks good from the outside, but points out one big problem in the way the manager treats his staff. He mentions how he has seen the manager scolding the same girl repeatedly and asks him to remember her name. The manager says she is just a worker. Ved reveals that Saru is actually the daughter-in-law of the Birla family, his wife, and warns that if Ved Birla ever comes to know that his wife is being treated like this, he might destroy the café in one burst of anger. The manager is stunned.
Ved softens his tone and offers a clever suggestion. He tells the manager that instead of mistreating the staff, he should start giving proper breakfast breaks and lunch breaks, let them rest and work with dignity. He explains that if Saru likes the environment and praises the café to Ved, the business might expand and the café could grow with new branches. The manager begins to see the benefit and rushes away to implement the changes. Ved adds that nobody should know he gave this advice, saying he only wants the café to grow without ruining anyone’s life. Annapurna watches this from a distance and her eyes fill up. She realizes she misjudged Ved. Even in anger and separation, he has protected Saru’s dignity silently. Annapurna now feels sure that Ved’s love for Saru is selfless and deep, and she prays that their relationship finds its way back to peace.
At the Birla house, another revelation stirs the calm. Tara gives Chandrakant’s coat to Prince and asks him to send it for dry cleaning after checking the pockets. Prince finds an old photograph tucked inside. It is a wedding photo of Chandrakant and Saroja. Annapurna sees the picture and recognizes it. She had once given it to be enlarged, and now it is back in Chandrakant’s pocket. She hides her shock and claims it is just an old photo they had given for enlargement, but the thought does not leave her mind. She wonders if Chandrakant has met Saroja after all these years, and if that meeting is connected to the storm brewing around Saru.
Back at the hostel, Anika is still not done playing games. She complains about the cement incident, grumbles about Saru’s threat and then issues another order to her minion. She hands over a box full of mice and instructs her to somehow release them into Saru and Phulla’s room, so the girls will be blamed for creating a nuisance and thrown out of the hostel. Late at night, Anika and her helper sneak into the room. They whisper about the plan, thinking Saru and Phulla are fast asleep. Suddenly they hear loud screams. The lights switch on and Saru and Phulla jump up with pillows and sticks, beating them, shouting that a thief has entered. The mice scatter. Anika yells in pain and reveals her face.
Saru corners her and asks what she is doing in their room in the middle of the night with a box of rats. Anika stammers some excuse about checking the hostel and cleaning rodents for everyone’s safety. She claims she is only worried about hygiene because she owns the college and hostel. Saru smiles tightly and apologises with heavy sarcasm for mistakenly beating her up like a thief. She offers to walk her back to the car, knowing Anika is in no condition to walk on her own. Once outside, Saru drops the politeness. She clearly warns Anika that she has tried enough tactics to get Saru thrown out of the college and hostel, and from now on she will not let her succeed. She says this cat-and-mouse drama needs to stop, reminding Anika that mice are considered the vehicle of Lord Ganesh, and messing with them for dirty tricks might one day turn back on her. Anika is left fuming as Saru and Phulla walk back, having won this round.
Later, Ved is seen driving lost in his thoughts about Saru. He is so absorbed in her memories that he does not realize how far he has driven until his car tyre punctures just near the hostel lane. He steps out, frustrated that even fate seems to drag him to the same place where Saru lives. At the same time, Saru stands at the window, restless and thinking about him. The episode gently overlaps their shared longing. She whispers in her heart that his absence hurts more every day, while he silently wonders why she created this distance when she still feels so connected.
Ved walks down the lane, wrapped in his own thoughts, when he suddenly finds himself near the same corner where he had watched Saru earlier. Saru comes out to get some work done and they nearly collide. She acts nonchalant and asks why he is here at this hour. He brushes it off, saying he was just passing by and has no reason to give her explanations. She tells him to go and mind his own work. He walks away, but the pull between them refuses to weaken.
Later, he ends up hurting his hand in a moment of frustration. Saru finds him struggling alone with an injured hand and silently steps forward. She orders him to stand still and let her take care of the tyre replacement. She changes the trye. He watches her. She cleans the wound and applies bandage, scolding him in a soft voice for taking his anger out on walls. She tells him he should control his temper because he only ends up hurting himself. Ved asks how she knows he hit the wall. She replies that whether she stays close or far, she is still his wife and feels every pain and fear inside him. She asks him to apply a pain spray once he gets home, otherwise the swelling will get worse.
Her care touches him deeply, but also reopens his hurt. In his heart, he asks why she walked out on him if she still feels and acts like his wife. He almost says it aloud, but stops himself. When he mutters something under his breath, she asks what he said. He brushes it aside and tells her she should go back to the hostel before it gets too late. She walks away slowly, and they both look back in opposite directions once they are alone, still bound by love but separated by stubborn sacrifice.
Back at home, Annapurna cannot carry the restless doubt any longer. She goes to Chandrakant with the wedding photo and asks him where it came from. She points out that this picture of him and Saroja was not lying around in the house, yet it was found freshly inside his pocket. She asks him directly if he has met Saroja again after all these years and if there is a truth he is hiding from her. Chandrakant is shaken, caught between his past and present. The episode ends on his stunned face and Annapurna’s firm gaze, hinting that the buried secret of Saru’s identity is about to resurface just when her life and marriage are being tested the most.
