Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 14th December 2025 Written Update: Tulsi’s Truth Explodes, Mihir’s Love Put on Trial

The episode unfolds in heavy silence as Tulsi walks toward Pari and Ranvijay during the bidaai ritual. The house is decorated, guests are emotional, but Tulsi’s presence carries a different weight altogether. Pari, already overwhelmed, turns to Tulsi with teary eyes and asks where she had disappeared. Old memories flash between mother and daughter, reminding everyone that this bond has survived far more than weddings and rituals.

Tulsi does not soften the moment. She questions Pari’s decision to marry Ranvijay after everything that has gone wrong. Pari answers simply that she married him because she loves him. That one word becomes the turning point of the episode.

Tulsi shifts her gaze toward Mihir, without directly naming him, and delivers a layered truth about relationships. She says love may bring two people together, but trust is what keeps them together. Trust, she explains, is the first phera of marriage. Parents send their daughter away believing that her husband will protect her, stand by her, and never betray that faith. When that trust breaks, the pain cannot be measured or explained. Tulsi asks Pari to guard that trust fiercely and reminds Ranvijay that once faith is broken, no apology is enough to mend it. With those words, Pari’s bidaai is completed, but Tulsi’s own marriage quietly reaches its breaking point.

After the guests move inside, Tulsi asks everyone to give her privacy. She wants to speak to Mihir alone. The silence between them feels heavier than any argument. Mihir finally begins to speak, saying he wanted to tell her everything earlier but couldn’t because of Pari’s wedding. He apologises repeatedly and admits that guilt pushed him to transfer all the property in Tulsi’s name. He says misunderstandings grew between them, their thoughts changed, and despite trying, he failed to bridge the distance. He insists that Noina is only a good friend.

Tulsi stops him mid-sentence.

Mihir continues, saying he feels ashamed to even stand in front of her. He doesn’t understand how everything went so wrong. Tulsi asks him a single, piercing question. Would he have forgiven her if she had done the same thing? Mihir tries to justify himself, saying he was drunk and unaware of what he was doing. Tulsi shuts that excuse down instantly. She says that even in drunkenness, a man knows whether the woman touching him is his wife or not.

Mihir apologises again and claims that he loves her deeply. Tulsi looks at him calmly and says he never loved her. She reminds him that if he had truly loved her, Mandira would never have entered his life. Noina would never have crossed boundaries. She says the real mistake was hers, not his. She forgave him once, not because he deserved it, but because she feared society, business partners, elders, and the impact on their children.

Tulsi opens up about the silent suffering she endured after Mandira’s truth came out. Every smile from Mihir felt fake. Every moment of closeness made her wonder if he smiled the same way at Mandira. She had married him while he carried another relationship in his heart. Still, she convinced herself that he was a good man who had made a mistake.

She reminds Mihir of Savita’s reaction when the truth came out. Savita slapped her own son in disbelief. Tulsi recalls how she accepted Mandira’s child into her life, never letting Karan feel like an outsider. Yet, every time she looked at Karan, she was reminded of betrayal. Mihir never once asked her how it felt. He never once felt ashamed enough to truly see her pain.

Tulsi admits that trusting him again made her half-mad. Now she feels completely broken. People warned her about Noina. Signs were everywhere. Still, she chose blind faith. She tried to repair their marriage knowing very well that one more betrayal would end everything. Mihir’s closeness with Noina crossed lines long before she realised it.

Mihir quietly says that he accepts his mistake and will not ask her to take him back. Tulsi responds by saying that property transfers mean nothing to her. The biggest thing she gave him was her trust and love for the second time. Compared to that, money and houses are worthless.

With finality in her voice, Tulsi tells Mihir to never take her name again. She turns away, leaving Mihir standing alone with his regret.

Review

This episode belongs entirely to Tulsi. Not because she cried, but because she stood tall and spoke the truth without screaming. Smriti Irani’s Tulsi returns to her strongest form here, not as a forgiving wife, but as a woman who finally chooses self-respect. Mihir’s justifications sound hollow against years of emotional neglect and repeated betrayal.

The writing shines in Tulsi’s monologue, especially when she talks about trust being the first phera. It feels rooted, real, and painfully relatable. Mihir’s guilt-driven generosity exposes his misunderstanding of accountability. The episode doesn’t rush reconciliation, and that’s its biggest strength.

This isn’t just a marital confrontation. It’s a reckoning. Tulsi doesn’t walk away defeated. She walks away aware. And that changes everything going forward.

Verdict: Emotionally heavy, sharply written, and long overdue. Tulsi doesn’t break this marriage. Mihir did.
