He reminds Mangal how she always scolds him for skipping school and asks whether it would be fair if he too decided to leave things halfway. His words hit Mangal deeply. Ishana also pleads with her mother not to give up so easily. Still, Mangal hesitates and says that the competition might have already started and there is no point in rushing now.
Meanwhile, at the temple, Sowmya is seen praying to Mata Rani. But her prayer is filled with insecurity and jealousy rather than devotion. She asks Mata Rani to finally support her instead of Mangal, complaining that Mangal always ends up winning everything. Just then, Shanti arrives at the same temple and prays wholeheartedly for Mangal’s success. Seeing Shanti there irritates Sowmya. In a petty move, she deliberately makes Santo drop the prasad laddoo and pretends it happened accidentally. Shanti scolds her and goes to fetch another prasad, while Sowmya smugly thinks that today will finally be her day.
Outside the temple, Sowmya looks for her slippers. Shanti, still upset over the spoiled prasad, decides to teach Sowmya a lesson. She lets the air out of a red car’s tyre, assuming it belongs to Sowmya. However, Sowmya soon finds her slippers and leaves in a taxi. Shanti then realizes her mistake when a random couple discovers their punctured car. Embarrassed, Shanti quietly slips away.
At the competition venue, the organizer, Bhabhi ji, asks her PA about Mangal’s arrival. Sowmya confidently claims that Mangal will not come because she has chosen her daughter over her career. She tries to manipulate Bhabhi ji by saying she dislikes women who abandon professional commitments for family. Sowmya even offers prasad to Bhabhi ji, believing that divine blessings alone can secure her victory. But Bhabhi ji sees through her arrogance and continues waiting for Mangal.
Back home, Mangal finally gathers courage. Determined not to let her children down, she sets off for the competition on a bicycle because the roads are blocked due to construction. Her journey is slow but filled with determination.
At the venue, Sowmya grows restless and pressures the PA, insisting that the competition should start without Mangal. She even suggests declaring her the winner directly. Bhabhi ji shuts her down firmly and reminds her that Adit is equally capable of taking care of the children.
The host announces that the winner will also receive a foreign trip, exciting all contestants. Just as the tasting round is about to begin, Mangal arrives on her bicycle, shocking Sowmya. Bhabhi ji warmly welcomes Mangal and tells her she has arrived just in time. Ishana and Neel reach the venue and cheer loudly for their mother. Adit also arrives, silently supporting her.
The first round begins. Contestants are asked to taste two dishes and identify the ingredients within one minute. Sowmya initially feels confident, but Mangal’s calm focus unsettles her. Akshat joins Neel and Ishana, and while Neel teases him, Ishana stops him, showing her growing maturity.
