Vasudha 25th December 2025 Written Update: Dev Proves His Worth, Love, Duty, and a Promise That Breaks Vasudha Silently.
The episode opens on an intensely emotional note inside Vasudha and Dev’s modest home. Vasudha stands alone, clutching Dev’s shirt tightly to her chest. Her tears soak the fabric as her emotions spill uncontrollably. She tells Dev that he is her pride, her strength, and the one who has endured everything for their love without complaint. She says he is not just her support, but also Chandrika’s honor and dignity. Her voice trembles as she reminds him that despite her desperate pleas, he still chose to attend the meeting. Between love and duty, he chose duty, and by doing so, he fulfilled his responsibility as a son.
Vasudha confesses that she is genuinely happy today. She believes Chandrika must also be happy seeing Dev uphold his obligations. Then her tone shifts. Holding back tears, she reveals the truth she has been hiding. She says that she has promised Chandrika that within fifteen days, she will send him back to his family forever. Her words break as she admits that life without him holds no meaning, yet she believes she will at least find peace knowing she returned a son to his mother, a son who can sacrifice everything for Chandrika.
While Vasudha breaks internally, the scene cuts to the Chauhan office, where Dev stands firm before furious investors. He calmly announces that they may take back their invested money along with their profit share, but after today, there will be no relationship between them and the Chauhan Group. Panic spreads among the board members as they realize the gravity of the decision. Avinash tries to stop Dev, warning that these investors are crucial and their exit could ruin the company.
Dev listens patiently but does not back down. He asks for the cheque book and personally hands over cheques to the investors, ordering them to leave immediately. When one investor protests, Dev asserts his authority clearly, stating that this is an order from Chauhan Group’s CEO. Security is called, and the investors are escorted out, leaving the office stunned.
Back at the Chauhan house, hope briefly flickers among the staff. They assume Dev must have resolved everything and that Chandrika may finally forgive him. Amid this, the servant rushes in with a little boy, explaining that the child had a school holiday and no one at home, so he brought her to the kothi. Vasudha gently takes responsibility, calming the child, asking him to sit and study while she brings sherbet.
As Vasudha helps the child with his studies, the boy innocently asks about Dev. She assumes Dev’s home is Vasudha’s home too since they are married. She says Vasudha reminds her of Dev because both love their mothers deeply. Vasudha listens quietly, swallowing her emotions, knowing how true and painful those words are.
The mood shifts again at the Chauhan office when news of the investors’ exit spreads. Chandrika calls Vasudha and explodes in anger. She storms in and accuses Vasudha directly, claiming that she deliberately sent Dev to destroy the company. She accuses Vasudha of manipulating Dev like a puppet, stabbing Chandrika in the back by using her own son. Vasudha stands shaken but firm, insisting she could never even dream of harming the company or Dev’s family. She reminds Chandrika that she worships her and only wants to fulfill the promise she made.
Chandrika refuses to believe her. She declares that she is Chandrika Singh Chauhan and anyone who stands against her will never find peace. Vasudha pleads, reminding Chandrika that she sent Dev to her to fulfill her vow. She asks Chandrika to trust her own blood.
Prabhat tries to calm the situation, saying the company is bigger than ego and anger. He insists they must save it at any cost. Avinash warns that without investors, plants will shut down and factories will close. Dev stops them. He remains unmoved, stating the Chauhan Group is not weak enough to collapse because of a few investors. Dev believes old investors will leave and new ones will come.
Dev takes control. He logs into Chandrika’s laptop and assures everyone that within minutes, top investors will line up. Meanwhile, Karanvir is seen poisoning investors against the Chauhan Group, claiming the company is leaderless and doomed. Investors initially panic and agree to withdraw, believing Karanvir’s narrative.
Suddenly, the situation flips. Investors receive news that Dev is still actively leading the company and that new investors have already submitted proposals. Realizing they were misled, they turn against Karanvir. One by one, they decide to return to Chauhan Industries and apologize.
Back at the office, calls start flooding in. Massive investment proposals arrive. Chandrika receives a call confirming an ₹850 crore investment. Dev confidently assures investors that their money will be safe and will grow. More calls follow, confirming meetings and finalized deals. The board watches in awe as Dev effortlessly stabilizes the collapsing empire.
Prabhat praises Dev, saying whenever he is present, problems vanish. Dev humbly credits Chandrika and the family. Just then, the old investors return, apologizing for doubting the Chauhan Group. They blame Karanvir for manipulating them and offer to invest even more than before.
Later, Chandrika calls Vasudha. She acknowledges Dev’s capability but reminds Vasudha that she deserves no credit. She warns Vasudha not to forget her promise. Vasudha replies, promising that even if she has to give up everything, she will fulfill her vow. Fifteen days are over. Only fourteen remain.
Vasudha meets Dev later and thanks him, saying he upheld not just Chandrika’s honor but also her faith in him. Dev assures her that he could never think ill of his mother. He apologizes for going to the meeting despite her stopping him. Vasudha says he did the right thing and refuses to discuss it further.
Dev explains that even though Chandrika said nothing, her silence gave him consent. He believes she needed him. He dreams aloud of the day Chandrika will finally accept Vasudha as her daughter-in-law and embrace them both.
Vasudha listens, smiling weakly, her heart breaking silently. She knows that dream will never come true the way Dev imagines. She has already promised to walk away alone.
The episode ends with Vasudha standing quietly, repeating her vow in her heart. Dev will return to his mother within fourteen days. Even if it costs her love, her marriage, and her entire world, she will keep her word.
