Reet firmly tells everyone that a wedding planned in just two days is not a joke. She reminds them that rituals need preparation and the pandit also requires time. Kirti responds calmly on the outside, saying she is glad to hear Reet’s thoughts, but insists that she will take the wedding pheras standing on her own feet. Dhruv immediately lightens the moment by saying that if needed, he can lift Kirti and help her complete the pheras. The elders tease him, asking whether the would-be groom is ready to carry the responsibility of his household along with Kirti’s weight. Dhruv confidently declares that he is fully prepared and adds that he had always wished for a simple wedding. More than anything, he feels happy that Kirti and he are about to become life partners. He promises to keep Kirti happy and asks the family to bless them.
