Jhanak 11th January 2026 Written Update: Police Search Raises Suspicion, Poison Clue Shakes Aniruddh, Jhanak Stands Firm

The episode begins on a tense note with Aniruddh questioning the police inspector about the sudden house search. The inspector calmly explains that it is part of an ongoing investigation and presents a valid search warrant. He adds that Chatterjee’s and Sanjhbati’s houses have already been searched. Aditi maintains a composed front and says the police are free to search their house, as they have nothing to hide.

Anjana, however, feels uneasy. She remarks that everything happening points toward Jhanak, yet her heart refuses to accept that Jhanak could be behind such a crime. Aniruddh directly asks the inspector whether anything suspicious was found in Jhanak’s room. The inspector avoids answering clearly and says he will report his findings only to his senior officer.

The inspector then asks Aditi who she believes the culprit is. Without hesitation, Aditi states that Jhanak is the only person who has a motive to kill her, making her certain that Jhanak tried to poison her. Her statement further deepens the tension in the room.

The inspector asks Aniruddh to show the clothes he was wearing on the day of the incident. Arshi immediately questions the relevance of Aniruddh’s outfit to Aditi’s case. The inspector firmly tells her to let him do his job. Arshi goes to bring the clothes, while a lady constable is instructed to search Aditi’s room. The inspector moves to Aniruddh’s room and begins checking both Aniruddh’s and Arshi’s outfits.

Aditi arrives there, and Aniruddh grows visibly nervous. He starts wondering if the inspector suspects him. His anxiety increases as he realizes he cannot remember where he kept the poison container.

The situation takes a shocking turn when the inspector finds a container in the dustbin and decides to send it for forensic testing. He informs Aniruddh that several suspicious things have been found and that the investigation will continue once the test report arrives. Aniruddh nervously asks whether the inspector is searching for a poison container. The inspector immediately questions how Aniruddh knew there was poison in it. Aniruddh tries to cover up by saying he merely guessed. He then asks if Jhanak has said anything against him. Arshi interrupts, questioning why that even matters.

After completing the search, the inspector prepares to leave. Aditi asks whether Rishi interfered with the investigation. The inspector clarifies that Rishi is not involved in the case at all. He adds an unexpected twist by saying there is a possibility that Aditi was not the intended target. He suggests that Aditi might have accidentally consumed the poisoned juice. Aniruddh strongly dismisses this theory, saying there is no chance of such a mistake. The inspector quietly leaves, leaving behind an atmosphere of unease.

Elsewhere, Abhimanyu informs the family that the police have called them to the station, so they must go. Dadabhai expresses his wish for the matter to end quickly. Tanushri points out that at least Dadabhai has finally accepted that something wrong is happening. Dadabhai replies that no one likes police visiting their house.

Neelu bluntly says that all these troubles are happening because of Jhanak. She admits she does not want to go to the police station but has no choice. She openly says she wants to see Jhanak getting arrested. Dadabhai reminds her that nothing has been proven against Jhanak yet. Neelu insists that Jhanak is the only one with a motive to kill Aditi.

Indumati tells Neelu that arguing with Dadabhai is pointless since he never listens. Rishi urges everyone to leave for the police station. Putul mentions that Sanjhbati’s family will also be present. Rishi looks deeply disturbed and admits he feels ashamed. When Putul asks why, Rishi says that if he had never brought Jhanak into the house, none of this would have happened. Still, he firmly believes Jhanak is innocent. Tanushri, however, claims that everyone already knows Jhanak is the culprit.

Rishi insists that the police investigation will be fair and says he trusts the law. At that moment, Jhanak arrives. Dadabhai reassures her and tells her not to be afraid, saying that if she is innocent, nothing will happen to her. Jhanak calmly says she knows she is innocent, but it hurts that everyone believes she is guilty. She points out how powerful and wealthy people can manipulate situations, while she stands helpless in front of them. Neelu taunts her again, but Jhanak responds firmly, saying that if she is guilty, God and the law will punish her. She adds that she cannot afford to be late to the police station.

In Simulboni, Parashar is seen packing his bags. Kanka grows worried and reminds him that the court has summoned him. She fears the police might arrest him at court. Parashar says he has no choice but to go. Kanka mentions that Nutan would have stopped him if she were alive. Parashar replies that Nutan always supported the truth and would have accompanied him instead. He admits he never stopped missing her. When Kanka asks what will happen after his statement against Aniruddh, Parashar reveals that the court will order a DNA test. They hear a police jeep siren, but Parashar assures her it is not coming toward their house.

Back at home, Arshi asks Aniruddh if he has contacted senior officers. Aniruddh says he has not received any updates. Arshi expresses her frustration, saying she never wanted Nutan to win and kept Aniruddh close for that reason, but now Aditi is unknowingly helping Jhanak. Aniruddh confidently says Jhanak will soon be out of Aditi and Rishi’s lives. Arshi questions him about the poison container. He admits he does not remember where it is and might have thrown it on the street. Arshi scolds him, warning that Aditi must never find out.

Aditi overhears part of the conversation and says Rishi will try to save Jhanak. Aniruddh dismisses this, claiming Rishi cannot do anything. He coldly tells Aditi to go back to Rishi once Jhanak lands in jail, declaring that he will not spare Jhanak. Arshi urges everyone to leave for the police station.

The episode ends on a tense note.

Precap:
Rishi insists on taking Jhanak to the police station, but Jhanak refuses. She boldly says they will see whether she goes to jail or walks out of the police station with dignity intact.
