Saru 14th January 2026 Written Update: Saru Returns To The Field, Anika’s Invisible Pen Exposed
The episode opens at the Bajaj house where the atmosphere is filled with tension and competitive pride. Bhandari greets Annapurna politely but with visible arrogance, confidently claiming that just like every year, the kabaddi trophy will return to his college. He taunts Annapurna about her age, mocking her fragile health and questioning whether she will even be able to tolerate the stress of defeat. Annapurna listens calmly and responds with dignity, reminding him that victories and defeats are not decided by overconfidence but by time and destiny. She introduces Saru as her granddaughter, which instantly catches Bhandari’s attention. He smirks, wondering aloud whether Saru will change Annapurna’s fate or repeat history.
Meanwhile, Tara is seen shopping happily with her friend, reminiscing about their college days. The conversation quickly shifts from shopping to marriages. Tara excitedly talks about wedding shopping and hints at Ved’s marriage. Her friend subtly proposes a double alliance, suggesting that her daughter Rachna could be married into her family as well. She openly states that this proposal depends on whether Tara agrees to move forward with Ved’s marriage to Vamika. Tara listens thoughtfully, sensing the pressure building around Ved’s future once again.
At the college ground, Anika prepares for the kabaddi match like a commander entering battle. She boasts about her team’s victory and credits Saru for past wins, yet sarcastically reminds Saru that she is no longer part of the team. Saru calmly encourages Anika’s team to win for the college’s honour, showing her maturity despite the insult. Anika snaps back, asserting control over the team and silencing Saru publicly. She leads the team onto the ground with loud confidence.
Back at the Bajaj house, Saru quietly makes a crucial phone call. She contacts Unity Multi Speciality Hospital to verify Chanda’s employment records. The hospital staff confirms that no nurse named Chanda has ever worked there. This revelation strengthens Saru’s suspicion. She firmly decides that Chanda’s truth must come out in front of Dadi, no matter the consequences.
Chanda, meanwhile, is seen counting trophies and jokingly assuming they are made of gold. Kamini scolds her sharply, reminding her that the trophies are brass and not real gold. Chanda complains bitterly, accusing Kamini of hiding the Bajaj family’s wealth from her. Kamini shuts her down, warning her not to overstep or get greedy before finishing the assigned work.
The kabaddi match begins with high energy. Anika wins the toss and scores aggressively, knocking out players one after another. The commentator praises her dominance, declaring her the star player of the match. Despite Anika’s early lead, Saru watches silently, praying for her college’s victory. Dadi notices Saru’s concern and asks her to take care of herself. Chanda ensures Dadi drinks water, quietly thinking that only when she proves herself genuinely will Dadi trust her completely.
As the match progresses, Sterling High College begins a strong comeback. Anika’s teammates fail to match her intensity, and the opposing team gains a solid lead. The commentators openly state that Saru’s absence is being felt, as no one understands the game better than her. By halftime, Anika’s college is trailing badly, and panic sets in.
Saru steps forward and requests permission to play. She confidently states that she knows how to defeat the opposing team and asks for just one chance. Anika immediately objects, reminding everyone that Saru is no longer a student of the college. The principal declares that Saru can only play if her answer sheet is verified and she passes the exam.
The answer sheet is brought forward, and shock spreads across the room when it is found completely blank. Saru is stunned. She insists that she answered every question carefully. The teacher refuses to believe her, stating that he personally collected the paper and filed it. Anika smirks, knowing her invisible pen trick has worked.
The principal announces that Saru has lost her final chance and cannot remain in the college or participate in the match. Saru stands frozen, humiliated yet silent. Elsewhere, Kamini praises Chanda for successfully mixing medicine into Annapurna’s water, explaining that it will slowly weaken her health and force her to sign the property papers out of fear. Chanda laughs cruelly, enjoying the power she feels.
Back at the college, Phulla refuses to give up. She reminds Saru about the invisible pen Anika once showed them, explaining how the ink disappears after a few minutes unless treated. Saru immediately understands the trap and requests to see her paper once more. She insists that the paper be examined under proper conditions.
With hesitation, the teacher allows it. As the paper is wiped with lemon, Saru’s answers begin to reappear. The invisible ink reveals every response clearly. The examiner is shocked. He confirms that all answers are correct and announces that Saru has passed the exam.
Cheers erupt around the ground. The principal immediately declares that Saru’s admission is restored and that she is eligible to play in the kabaddi match. Anika storms in furiously, demanding to know what is happening. The principal informs her calmly that Saru has passed, rejoined the college, and will now play for the team.
Anika stands speechless as Saru regains her position with dignity. The episode ends on a powerful note, with Saru stepping back into the game not just as a player, but as a symbol of truth, courage, and resilience, while Anika’s carefully laid trap collapses in front of everyone.
