Anupama 24th January 2026 Written Update: Rajni Tightens the Trap as Anupama Stands Alone Between Two Burning Homes
The episode opens with tension already simmering in the chawl. Sarita bluntly tells Bharti that Rajni fooled Anupama earlier and is now doing the same with her. Preet joins in, questioning Bharti’s blind support for Rajni and reminding her of the people standing right in front of her. Bharti, however, refuses to see any manipulation. She firmly states that after marriage, a woman naturally prioritizes her in-laws, and there is nothing wrong in that. Preet warns her that Rajni will betray her too, just like she betrayed Anupama. This warning instantly angers Rajni.
Elsewhere, Parag continues to ignore Prarthana’s calls. Khyati confronts him directly, accusing him of being unfair. Parag snaps back, saying Prarthana has chosen the Shahs and he does not want outsiders interfering in his matters. Khyati takes a strong stand for Prarthana, explaining that she went to the Shah house out of helplessness, not choice. She adds that Parag and the family are too weak to understand her situation. Parag shuts her down harshly, making it clear he will not tolerate lectures from anyone.
Back at the chawl, Bharti insists that she loves everyone, which is why she came to meet them. She confidently declares that she trusts Rajni completely and will never go against her. Preet reminds Bharti that Rajni betrayed Anupama and can easily betray her too. Bharti refuses to listen. She argues with Preet and claims that Rajni has done a lot for her and her parents. Sarita counters this sharply, saying Bharti can clearly see what Rajni has done for her but refuses to see what Rajni is doing to others. Preet points out that because of Rajni, Anupama has been thrown out of the house. Bharti coldly replies that the fight is between Rajni and Anupama, so why should she interfere. Pari starts suspecting that Rajni may have deliberately sent Bharti to spy on them. The argument between Preet and Bharti intensifies, filling the chawl with bitterness and mistrust.
Anupama finally intervenes. Calm but firm, she tells Bharti that she is genuinely happy to see her happy. But she also issues a clear warning. If Bharti refuses to interfere now, she should never interfere in the future either. Anupama makes it clear that the battle is strictly between her and Rajni. She adds that Rajni knows Bharti is her weakness, which is exactly why Bharti should stay away from this fight. Rajni watches silently, her smirk hidden behind controlled rage.
At the Kothari house, Vasundhara’s health suddenly worsens. Meeta informs the family that the medicines are not working. Parag anxiously asks Vasundhara to drink water, but she refuses. Gautam questions Parag directly, asking if he ordered Rajni to run the bulldozer over the chawl. Meeta shocks everyone by saying Parag should save his own house and let the poor die. Vasundhara, visibly shaken, asks Rahi whether Anupama will refuse to take a decision and leave them on the streets. Mahi confidently states that Anupama will never break her daughter’s house. Vasundhara refuses to take water from Parag’s hand until he fixes everything, emotionally cornering him.
Meeta confronts Parag again, reminding him that he mortgaged the house without thinking about anyone and risked their shares. Anil apologizes to Parag on Meeta’s behalf, trying to ease the tension. Rahi, however, lashes out at Anupama once again. She accuses Anupama of always ruining everything despite being given countless chances and forgiveness. According to Rahi, chaos follows Anupama wherever she goes.
Meanwhile, Prarthana misses Parag deeply. Pakhi and Paritosh suggest she return to the Kothari house, but Prarthana refuses. They claim they are thinking about her well-being. Pakhi taunts that Anupama took responsibility for Prarthana and then escaped. Ansh defends Anupama, saying she left due to an emergency and that he would have stood by her during her difficult time. Prarthana asks Ansh to go to Anupama instead and assures him that she can take care of herself. When Ansh tries to leave, Anupama stops him and gently asks him to stay back and look after Prarthana.
The atmosphere heats up further when Prerna openly takes Anupama’s side. Rajni defends herself aggressively. Prerna declares that she hates Rajni and finally exposes her true nature. Furious, Rajni raises her hand at Prerna, but Varun steps in just in time and stops her. Rajni fumes, accusing Anupama of manipulating Prerna against her. She vows that Anupama will pay for this humiliation.
Rahi once again confronts Anupama, blaming her for destroying everything. She urges Anupama to meet Parag and assures her that she will support him. Anupama is visibly stressed, torn between her conscience and her children’s future. Pari, Ishani, Preet, and Sarita stand by her, trying to comfort her. Anupama remains confused about whether she should visit the Kotharis or not.
At the Kothari house, Vasundhara asks Rahi if she has contacted Anupama. Rahi says only Anupama can fix everything now. Eventually, Anupama meets Rahi. Rahi questions her about her final decision. Mahi confidently states that Anupama will surely take Parag’s side, leaving Anupama standing silently, burdened by expectations she never asked for.
The episode ends with Anupama caught between two collapsing worlds, while Rajni watches confidently from the shadows.
Anupama 24th January 2026 Written Update Review
This episode of Anupama is emotionally heavy and deliberately uncomfortable. It doesn’t rush to give answers, instead forcing viewers to sit with Anupama’s confusion and emotional exhaustion. Rajni emerges stronger as a manipulator, not because she shouts or schemes openly, but because she lets others fight on her behalf. Bharti’s blind loyalty to Rajni adds a realistic layer to the narrative, showing how manipulation often hides behind gratitude and obligation.
Rahi’s character continues to divide opinion. Her anger feels raw and real, but also painfully unfair. She holds Anupama responsible for every collapse, ignoring the fact that Anupama is often reacting, not initiating destruction. Vasundhara’s deteriorating health and emotional blackmail heighten the stakes, making Anupama’s decision feel less like a choice and more like a trap.
Parag’s helplessness stands out as well. His arrogance has slowly turned into panic, and yet he continues to deflect blame instead of owning his decisions. The Prerna–Rajni confrontation is one of the strongest moments of the episode, finally giving voice to what many characters have been suppressing for days.
Overall, this episode works because it refuses to paint Anupama as a savior with easy solutions. She is tired, conflicted, and cornered. The writing effectively shows how women are often expected to fix everything, even messes they did not create. Rajni’s confidence in the precap suggests that the decision has already been engineered, leaving Anupama to deal with the consequences once again.
