Itti Si Khushi 29th January 2026 Written Update: Anvita Traps Sanjay, Exposes His Obsession, and Takes Her First Step Toward Freedom
The episode begins with Anvita picking up a handkerchief she finds on the ground. She immediately recognises it as the one she had once given to Sanjay. Confused and uneasy, she wonders what he has been up to. Elsewhere, Sanjay recalls ordering Shirkey to dismantle the surveillance setup after Virat nearly caught him red-handed. Sanjay then receives a call from Rajnath, who demands an update on their plan against Anvita. Sanjay smugly reveals that he plans to destroy Anvita’s café completely. Rajnath is pleased but chillingly calls Sanjay a dangerous husband. Sanjay replies that when Anvita falls, he will be there to catch her, enjoying his twisted sense of control.
At the café, Diya shares her growing concern about Sanjay’s strange behaviour, but Anvita remains quiet, clearly lost in thought. Virat pleads with Anvita to trust him and finally blurts out the truth, Sanjay has been keeping an eye on her. He also shares his frustration about being unable to reach her on the phone. Anvita is shocked and asks Virat to call her immediately. He does, but her phone doesn’t ring. When she checks, she is stunned to see Virat’s number blocked. Virat realises this was all Sanjay’s plan to separate them and bitterly says that if Sanjay hadn’t interfered, he and Anvita would have been together by now. The statement hurts Anvita deeply. Virat urges her to confront and expose Sanjay, and Diya supports him, but Anvita refuses, leaving Virat upset and disappointed.
Later, Anvita returns home and stares at herself in the mirror, her thoughts racing. She clenches Sanjay’s handkerchief in her hand, her expression slowly hardening. Sanjay notices her disturbed state and wonders what is wrong. He then overhears Anvita asking Diya on a call to help her meet Virat. Diya warns her about Sanjay, but agrees to help. Sanjay’s rage explodes. He convinces himself that this is exactly why he needed to monitor Anvita. Determined to catch her red-handed, he orders Shirkey to follow Virat while he tracks Anvita’s location himself.
Soon, Shirkey follows Virat’s car and watches as Anvita gets inside. The two drive away together. At one point, Virat stops the car and moves closer to Anvita. Watching from afar, Shirkey immediately informs Sanjay, who orders him to stop Virat from crossing any limits. Shirkey intervenes, angering Virat, who steps out of the car and confronts him.
Right then, Sanjay arrives and loses control. He accuses Virat of having an affair with his wife and demands that Anvita come out of the car. When the woman turns around, Sanjay is left stunned. It’s not Anvita but Dhruvi. Virat mocks Sanjay openly. Diya arrives and confronts Sanjay, calling him out for stooping to such a cheap level. Dhruvi also questions Sanjay for abusing his power and influence. Sanjay, however, remains cold and unapologetic.
At the same time, Anvita calls Sanjay and calmly tells him that she knows about his conspiracy. A flashback reveals the truth, Anvita had already sensed danger at the café and quietly took Diya and Virat aside, asking for their help to trap Sanjay and expose his obsession. Virat agreed without hesitation. Back in the present, Sanjay is shaken, realising that Anvita outplayed him and forced him to reveal his true face.
When Sanjay returns home, he finds Anvita in their room smashing one of the hidden cameras. In her anger, she accidentally breaks a glass item. Madhuri hears the noise and asks what happened. Anvita quickly lies and brushes it off. Once alone, she sits down, furious yet resolute, knowing there is no turning back now.
The episode ends with Anvita finally seeing Sanjay clearly, not as a husband, but as her biggest threat.

This episode is gripping and emotionally intense. Anvita’s transformation from doubt to strategy is satisfying to watch, as she finally turns the tables on Sanjay. Sanjay’s obsession and need for control are exposed in full, making him genuinely frightening rather than just manipulative. The fake-out with Dhruvi is smartly executed and gives the episode its strongest payoff. While the confrontation is delayed until the precap, the psychological tension throughout keeps the episode tight and engaging.
