Mangal Lakshmi 9th February 2026 Written Update: Ishana’s Anger, Aarav’s Entry

Mangal Lakshmi 9th February 2026 Written Update: Ishana’s Anger, Aarav’s Entry. The episode begins with Ishana rushing home and telling Kusum that her mother had come to her college as a guest lecturer and a huge scene took place. Kusum asks her to calm down and explain properly. Just then, Shubhi and Mangal arrive, and Shubhi clarifies that some mischievous students locked Mangal in the arts room, which created the chaos. Gayatri asks about the “tamasha” Ishana mentioned, and Ishana confirms that this is what happened but walks away angrily.

Ishana retreats to her room and plays loud music, something she does whenever she is upset. Gayatri questions her behavior, but Shubhi explains that Ishana is hurt because Mangal did not tell her she was coming to the college. She believes Ishana will calm down after eating the kheer Mangal plans to make. Mangal quietly agrees and goes to prepare it.

Meanwhile, Aarav confronts his friend about taking rent money from his mother. His friend says Aarav had failed to pay rent, so he accepted the advance his mother paid for a year. Aarav asks him to return the money, insisting he wants nothing from her, but his friend refuses. Frustrated, Aarav vacates the room and leaves, while his friend wonders why Aarav has such a strained relationship with his mother.

Back in the kitchen, Mangal thanks Shubhi for helping handle the situation at the police station and at home. Shubhi reassures her and takes the prepared kheer to Ishana. Before that, she tells Mangal that Ishana loves her deeply and even defended her at college, proudly calling her her mother. She believes Ishana’s anger will pass soon.

At the same time, Vishal calls Ishana on video and tells her he has been suspended. Ishana bluntly tells him it was his fault for locking her mother in a room. Vishal and his friend insult Mangal, calling her a criminal and accusing her of bribing the police before cutting the call. Ishana is shaken but remains silent.

Shubhi brings the kheer and begins feeding Ishana, but when Ishana realizes that Mangal made it, her anger returns. She throws the bowl down and declares that she hates Mangal. Unseen by her, Mangal watches from the doorway, deeply hurt but silent. Later, Shubhi tries to lighten the mood by playing music and making Ishana dance, and Mangal feels relieved seeing her daughter smile again, even if only for a moment.

Elsewhere, Jairaj is playing cricket and loses his turn, already irritated. Mangal heads to the office to conduct interviews for new job openings. Jairaj notices a female worker and openly complains that he does not like women working there, questioning why she is still present. Yashvardhan arrives, and Jairaj accuses him of sending him to the police station. Yashvardhan calmly replies that he actually saved him because he saw honesty in Mangal’s eyes.

During the interviews, Aarav arrives for an internship. He apologizes to Mangal for not helping her earlier at the college and says he did not know it was her office. Mangal, impressed by his resume, offers him the job. Aarav asks if he can join after two days, as he is searching for a place to stay. Mangal immediately offers to help and brings him home.

This decision surprises everyone. Ishana wonders why Aarav has been brought there, and Kusum tells Mangal that allowing a young man to stay in a house with two grown daughters may not be appropriate. Mangal reassures her that Aarav is a good person and will stay in the outhouse. Neel supports her, but Gayatri remains uneasy.

Aarav, sensing the tension, says he does not want to disturb the family and decides to leave. Mangal feels helpless watching him go, but she stops him and insists that he stay, standing by her decision to help him.

The episode ends with mixed emotions in the household, as Ishana’s anger, Aarav’s arrival, and Jairaj’s growing hostility begin to shape the coming conflict.

Precap:
Mangal senses Jairaj behind her. He taunts her and warns that within two days he will destroy Pehla Swaad. Mangal firmly challenges him, declaring that she will not tolerate anyone trying to ruin her work and that time will reveal who truly falls.
