Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 9th February 2026 Written Update: Myra’s Hostel Twist. The episode begins with Meher informing Armaan that she has learned from Vidya about Myra being expelled. She steps in to help and manages to secure admission for Myra in a good school. Armaan feels relieved and grateful, but his happiness is mixed with shock when he learns an unexpected detail about the admission.
At the same time, Abhira is deeply worried about arranging money to send Mukti to an expensive school. Jaya and Nilesh overhear her speaking about arranging funds and become concerned. Nilesh offers to help, but Abhira refuses, asking them to focus on Rinku’s wedding instead. After she leaves, Jaya and Nilesh discuss how difficult things must be for Abhira. Nilesh grows upset thinking about Abhira’s husband, while Jaya explains that Abhira herself avoids speaking about him. Both silently worry about how she is managing everything alone.
Back at home, Armaan notices Vidya is still awake and asks why she is worrying despite his instructions. Vidya says she is stubborn like him and asks what is troubling him. Armaan then reveals that Myra has received admission to a good school, but she will have to stay in a hostel. Vidya immediately objects, saying they cannot send Myra away in her current emotional state and suggests looking for another school.
Meanwhile, Abhira continues struggling to arrange the required money. Mukti learns about the financial pressure Abhira is under and decides to give up her dream to ease the burden. Abhira, however, refuses to give up and silently prays, wondering how she will fulfill Mukti’s dream and asking God why life keeps testing them.
Elsewhere, tension grows in Tanya and Krish’s relationship. Tanya ignores Krish, and he complains to Madhav that he should not have angered Armaan. Tanya argues that hiding the truth just because Armaan gets angry is not right. Sanjay feels offended as Tanya keeps interrupting, and both he and Kajal accuse her of not trying hard enough to fix her relationship with Krish. Sanjay also questions why Tanya chose Manoj over Krish for her business decisions, deepening the conflict.
Later, Tanya bumps into Myra and learns that Myra may have to go to a boarding school. The Poddar family tries to console Myra. Armaan then asks Myra to stay at her friend’s house for the night, saying it casually, but Myra takes it seriously. Vidya questions this decision, but Armaan explains that he wants to test whether he can handle being away from Myra when she eventually goes to the hostel. However, he soon realizes how difficult it is and quickly goes to bring her back, unable to stay away from her for long.
On another front, Abhira meets Tomar and asks for money. Tomar informs her about the heavy interest, but Abhira decides to take the risk for Mukti’s future. Later, Mukti lies to avoid taking admission to her dream school, hoping to reduce Abhira’s burden, but Abhira sees through the lie and realizes Mukti is sacrificing her dream for her sake.
The episode ends with both Abhira and Armaan facing emotional challenges related to the children they care for, each struggling in their own way.

This episode focuses strongly on emotional bonds, especially the sacrifices made for children. The episode moves steadily, balancing family drama with emotional introspection, and sets up a hopeful track that hints at Abhira and Armaan’s paths crossing again.
