Jhanak 9th February 2026 Written Update: Jhanak Targeted Again. The episode begins with Jhanak telling Rishi that she met Indranath at a restaurant. Rishi is upset that she went without informing him and reminds her that she had once been in danger because of Indranath. Jhanak assures him that she is fine and explains that she met Indranath out of respect. She also tells Rishi that Indranath apologized to him. Rishi admits he was worried for her safety and shares disturbing rumors he has heard—that Indranath may have killed Ankush’s parents. Jhanak is shocked and says she cannot believe such things about him.
Rishi adds another rumor, saying people claim Indranath had an affair with Ankush’s mother, and when Ankush’s father found out, he was killed. Jhanak becomes uneasy and says that Ankush will eventually be released, so they should be cautious. Rishi advises her to stay away from these matters and focus on her studies. Jhanak agrees, though she remains thoughtful.
Neelu secretly overhears their conversation. Jhanak then tells Rishi about Koushik and her doubts about his character, saying she believes he is betraying Aditi. Rishi says there is little they can do since it is Aditi’s decision and warns that if Jhanak interferes, Aditi may think she is lying. Jhanak replies that she cannot stay silent if Aditi’s life is at risk, as she still considers her a sister. Later, Jhanak goes to the market and stops to eat panipuri. Ankush spots her and begins following her on his bike. Jhanak senses someone behind her and turns around, but Ankush hides. Just when she starts to think she is imagining things, Ankush appears in front of her. She is terrified and warns him not to harm her, but Ankush points a gun at her. Jhanak pushes his hand away and runs home, shaken and worried that Ankush may target Rishi as well.
Back at the house, Neelu shows everyone the video she recorded of Jhanak talking about Koushik. The family begins accusing Jhanak of trying to ruin Aditi’s life. Abhimanyu questions why she is interfering when Aniruddh has already accepted her. Indumati says Jhanak had already caused pain to Aditi once and now wants to ruin her future too. Tanushri taunts her, accusing her of seeking revenge. Jhanak tries to explain that she only spoke out of concern, but no one believes her.
They also question why Jhanak did not go to Simulboni and why she has not asked Rishi to end their marriage. Exhausted by constant accusations, Jhanak says she is tired of explaining herself and reminds them that she never truly accepted the marriage. Abhimanyu questions why she applied vermilion if she did not accept it, leaving her silent and hurt.
Rishi then comes downstairs, and Abhimanyu asks whether he told Aditi about Koushik. Rishi refuses, saying it is not his place. Neelu again claims that Jhanak hates Aditi and cannot see her happy. Tanushri confronts Rishi, saying Aditi always supported him, yet he left her without any major reason. She declares she will never accept Jhanak as her daughter-in-law and accuses Jhanak of targeting Aditi by refusing to accept Aniruddh.
Amid all the tension, Jhanak finally tells Rishi that their marriage will not bring happiness to anyone and that she does not think they should marry. Her words leave everyone stunned.
The episode ends with the future of both relationships hanging in uncertainty.
