The bank employee reveals that the joint account was closed months ago by the main account holder, Adit. The revelation stuns Mangal, as everyone believed Adit had died years ago. Kusum bitterly says she expects nothing from her son anymore. Determined to know the truth, Mangal obtains the contact number and calls it, only to hear someone claiming to be Adit. For a brief moment, hope rises, but when the man clarifies his full name is different, Mangal is left shaken and disappointed, though the doubt about Adit’s fate lingers.
Later, at the dining table, Ishana refuses to eat properly, saying she must stay light for the dance competition. Aarav encourages everyone to focus on enjoying the performance rather than worrying too much. A small incident occurs when a bowl of curd slips, and Gayatri calls it a bad omen, but Mangal and Kusum dismiss the superstition, keeping the mood calm.
At the temple, Jairaj performs a pooja and openly declares that he has no interest in marriage and only wants business success. At the same time, Mangal arrives to pray for Ishana’s victory. As Jairaj is leaving, his shawl catches fire, and Mangal instinctively saves him. Instead of gratitude, Jairaj reacts coldly and warns her that she will regret helping him, hinting at his growing hostility.
At the dance venue, excitement builds. Ishana learns the first round requires a partner and decides she will dance with Aarav. Meanwhile, Shubhi backs out quietly, worried that Mangal may stop her. Mangal reassures Ishana that she trusts her completely and believes she will perform well.
The atmosphere shifts when the chief guest is announced. Due to traffic and the crowd, Mangal cannot see who it is at first. When the lights come on, she is stunned to see Jairaj on stage, realizing that the same man she encountered earlier is now directly connected to the event.
