Hanumant comes home and sees Dev with Vasudha. He asks what he is doing here.
Dev tells that he was standing at the door, he heard Vasudha’s scream and came inside to check. Hanumant makes him leave the house. He scolds Dev and calls him a stranger. Vasudha stops him. Dev asks Hanumant what he can do to prove deserving of Vasudha. Hanumant tells that he is jobless now and can’t give any work to Dev.
