Anupama 4th March 2026 Written Update: Priest’s Prediction Targets Anupama, Vasundhara Snatches the Baby
Today’s episode begins on a disturbing note as Anupama wakes up from a terrifying dream. In the dream, Prarthana takes a drastic step and jumps along with her newborn baby. The vision shakes Anupama deeply. She wakes up breathless and unsettled, wondering why she saw such a frightening dream. Looking toward God, she questions whether it is a warning or a message about something dangerous approaching.
Meanwhile, the newborn baby starts crying loudly in the night. The sound wakes Prarthana and Ansh. While they try to calm the baby, Mahi complains that the crying baby has completely ruined her sleep. She grumbles that their room is next to Prarthana’s, and because of the constant crying she now has dark circles under her eyes.
Elsewhere, Parag happily tells Khyati that after so many years the house is echoing with a baby’s cries again. Both of them smile, feeling warmth in the house. They decide to sleep so they can properly spend time with the baby in the morning.
In Prarthana’s room, Ansh tries his best to soothe the crying baby so Prarthana can rest. Rahi arrives and jokingly asks whether Prarthana threw him out of the room. Ansh laughs and explains that the baby woke up, so he stepped outside to give Prarthana some rest.
Prem and Rahi tease him lovingly but then help calm the baby. They sing a lullaby together. The soft song works like magic as the baby slowly falls asleep. Ansh becomes emotional and calls Anupama, telling her that Prem and Rahi are singing the same lullaby she used to sing for him when he was a child. Anupama smiles softly and says that time always completes its cycle. Hearing that the baby is finally calm brings her some relief.
Later, Ansh offers to take the baby so everyone else can rest. Rahi and Prem refuse and decide they will stay awake the entire night to take care of the baby themselves.
Back at home, however, Anupama cannot stop thinking about the nightmare she saw earlier.
The next morning, Ishani arrives with excitement. She tells Anupama that she wants to record a video of her for social media. According to Ishani, social media is no longer simple — it is now aesthetic, dramatic, and lifestyle-focused. Anupama jokingly asks if she should just cook sweets and let herself be recorded.
Ishani confidently assures her that she will handle everything and that Anupama’s video will definitely go viral. As she begins recording, Anupama lovingly kisses Ishani on the forehead. Ishani becomes emotional and admits that although Anupama does so much for everyone, she rarely hears a thank you. She then openly expresses how much she loves her.
At the Kothari house, Parag, Khyati, Meeta, and Anil watch Rahi and Prem holding the baby. They find the moment adorable. Parag eventually asks Prem to hand the baby to him. Prem initially refuses, jokingly claiming the baby is now his responsibility.
Parag finally takes the baby into his arms. Both Anil and Parag happily play with the newborn. When Prarthana sees them passing the baby around, she requests them to let the baby sleep peacefully on the bed. Parag proudly insists that the baby is sleeping perfectly in his arms.
Meanwhile, Mahi enters the room irritated again. She complains loudly that the baby’s crying kept her awake all night. Prarthana calmly handles Mahi’s complaint, which impresses both Anil and Parag.
Back at home, Ishani continues recording Anupama’s video. She confidently says that the video will definitely trend online. Paritosh, however, begins dreaming about a different future. He imagines that if Anupama starts earning through social media, he will not have to work anymore.
Soon after, Khyati calls Anupama and invites her to the house because Vasundhara has called a priest to perform the baby’s birth ritual.
Later, both the Shahs and the Kotharis gather together for the ceremony. Ansh and Prarthana express their wish that their baby grows up inheriting the best qualities from everyone in the family.
The priest begins studying the baby’s horoscope. Anupama immediately senses something unusual because the priest looks worried while reading it.
Meanwhile, Kinjal excitedly looks at baby products she has bought after seeing the baby’s pictures. Paritosh reacts negatively and argues with her. He insists that since they share no blood relation with the baby, he refuses to spend money on her. Kinjal angrily challenges his outdated thinking and stands up for the child.
Back at the ritual, the priest finally speaks.
She announces that the baby has a bright future ahead but the next seventy-two hours are extremely dangerous for her. According to the horoscope, the baby must be protected from someone whose life has been filled with pain — someone whose relationships have broken repeatedly and whose shadow carries sorrow.
The statement creates tension in the room.
Vasundhara instantly becomes anxious. She suddenly takes the baby away from Anupama’s arms. Fear flashes across her face. Leela immediately objects, questioning how Vasundhara could even think that Anupama’s presence is dangerous.
But Vasundhara remains unconvinced. She says that the baby was born on the same day as Anupama, and she refuses to let the child face the same fate as Anupama’s life. Determined to protect the baby, she decides to keep Anupama away from her.
Anupama stands there silently, tears filling her eyes as she absorbs the painful accusation.
The episode ends with Anupama once again becoming the target of blame despite her love for the family.
In the precap, Rahi asks Anupama if she has seen Prem. While searching for him, Anupama sees Prerna asking Prem to apply color on her first during Holi. The sight triggers painful memories of past betrayals involving Kavya and Maya. Fearing history might repeat itself with Rahi, Anupama watches in shock as both she and Rahi see Prem and Prerna together.
