Mangal Lakshmi 4th March 2026 Written Update: Mangal Exposes Adit, Emotional Confrontation Reveals Painful Truth
Today’s episode begins with Mangal secretly entering Adit—now known as Ashish’s—house. The house looks messy, with papers scattered everywhere. Suspicious, Mangal starts searching through the place, hoping to find clues about why Adit has been hiding his identity.
Just then, Ashish’s friend arrives and asks him who the woman inside the house is. Ashish and his friend walk into the room, forcing Mangal to quickly hide so they do not see her.
Elsewhere, Ishana escapes from the house terrace using a saree tied as a rope. Gayatri notices her climbing down and wonders why Ishana is leaving the house in such a strange way.
Back at the house, Ashish’s friend notices the scattered papers and assumes someone has robbed the place. While they are discussing it, Adit/Ashish suddenly catches Mangal hiding there. He angrily asks why she has been following him, why she entered his house, and why she keeps calling him Adit. He insists that his name is Ashish and warns her to leave immediately or he will call the police. Mangal quietly agrees and walks out, though she clearly refuses to give up.
Meanwhile, Ishana reaches Aarav’s house. She is surprised to see the entire place beautifully decorated with lights and a large “I Love You” display. Aarav happily tells her it is a surprise.
Ishana questions him for lying earlier about being injured. Aarav admits he heard her arguing with Shubhi and intentionally lied so she would find a way to escape and come to him. His plan worked exactly as he hoped.
Suddenly, Aarav kneels down and proposes his love to Ishana.
Ishana looks surprised and asks how he can propose when they have known each other for barely two days. Aarav stands up, unsure about her reaction. Then Ishana smiles softly. She tells him that he understands her without judging her, which matters more than the length of time they have known each other. Though she did not expect such a proposal, she happily accepts it and says she wants to spend her life with him.
She hugs Aarav warmly while Aarav secretly smirks, hinting that his intentions may not be as pure as they appear.
Meanwhile, Mangal receives a phone call that immediately worries her. She speaks loudly about her mother’s condition and says she is rushing home. Adit overhears the conversation nearby.
At that moment, a tea vendor runs toward Adit and informs him about a gas leak in a nearby company building. Hearing that someone might be trapped inside, Adit quickly rushes there. He cuts off the power supply and bravely enters the building to rescue the woman he believes is his mother.
He comes out carrying the unconscious woman in his arms.
To his shock, Mangal is standing outside waiting for him.
The woman in Adit’s arms is not Kusum. She is an actress hired by Mangal as part of her plan. Once outside, the woman leaves quietly.
Mangal calmly reveals the truth. She tells Adit that she asked the tea vendor to lie about the gas leak so she could force him to reveal himself.
Then the confrontation begins.
Mangal asks him the question that has been burning inside her heart for years. If he was alive all along, why did he never return home? Why did he change his identity and abandon his family?
She tells him that his mother suffered a heart attack. For years she has been lying to Kusum, pretending that her son is alive somewhere. She painfully explains how difficult it has been to hide a son’s death from his own mother while carrying the burden alone.
Mangal continues, saying that Ishana still lives in emotional trauma. Her heart still longs for her father.
When Adit tries to explain himself, Mangal stops him. She bitterly tells him that if he truly wanted to disappear, he should leave again just like he did before.
Adit finally responds with anger and frustration. He says he left behind a letter before disappearing. He had lost everything and did not want to return home as a failure.
Mangal demands to know why he never at least told her the truth.
Adit replies harshly that if he had told her, she would have forgiven him again and played the role of the “mahan” wife.
Mangal’s anger explodes. She tells him that while he chose to run away, she has spent the last five years facing Ishana’s hatred alone. She has been living with guilt because she believed his accident happened because of her words. On the day he left, she had angrily asked him to go away.
Later, Ishana overheard that conversation and blamed Mangal for her father’s death.
Through tears, Mangal says she never ran away from responsibilities the way he did. She has always faced every consequence, even when it destroyed her.
The episode ends with both of them standing in silence, years of pain finally exposed.
In the precap, Lakshmi attempts to stop Ishana’s wedding by pouring water on the havan kund. Mangal rushes to stop the ceremony, but both women are shocked to discover that Ishana and Aarav are already married.
