Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 7th March 2026 Written Update: Armaan and Abhira’s Drunken Wedding Stopped, Myra’s Painful Truth Surfaces
Today’s episode begins with Armaan and Abhira continuing their emotional Holi night together. Still intoxicated and overwhelmed with feelings, both decide that they should get married again. Standing in front of God, they fold their hands and take blessings, believing destiny has brought them together once more.
Abhira suddenly realizes something practical. She tells Armaan they cannot complete the wedding rituals because they do not have a mangalsutra or any chain for the ceremony. Armaan immediately starts looking around, determined to find something that could work.
Abhira smiles and says she has a “hack” for the situation. Hearing the word, Armaan pauses for a moment. The word reminds him of their old days together. He asks Abhira to repeat the word again. Abhira shyly says “hack” once more, and the nostalgic moment brings a smile to Armaan’s face.
Encouraged by the moment, Armaan and Abhira decide they will go ahead with the wedding rituals anyway. They begin preparing to take the sacred marriage rounds together.
However, before they can continue, Kaveri suddenly arrives and interrupts them.
Kaveri is shocked and disappointed seeing the situation. She tells them it was her mistake to expect maturity from both of them. Seeing them behave like this after everything that has happened between them frustrates her deeply.
Still intoxicated, Armaan and Abhira plead with Kaveri to let them marry. But Kaveri firmly refuses. She questions how many times they plan to get married when they have never been able to manage their relationship properly.
Without giving them a chance to argue further, Kaveri pulls them away from the temple area. Nilesh and Jaya witness the entire scene and remain confused by what they just saw.
Meanwhile, another emotional conversation unfolds between Myra and Mukti.
Mukti asks Myra not to shift rooms just because of her presence. Myra realizes that she unfairly vented her frustration on Mukti earlier. She apologizes and admits that she reacted emotionally.
Mukti tells Myra that she cannot remember much about her childhood. However, she knows something traumatic happened during that time, which is why she experiences panic attacks even today.
She also says that the word which triggers Myra emotionally represents her entire world.
Myra finally opens up about her pain. She reveals that her mother abandoned her for a stranger. Watching Mukti share such a strong bond with her own mother makes Myra feel jealous.
With tears in her eyes, Myra says she sometimes wished Mukti’s mother had been her mother instead.
Mukti is touched by Myra’s confession and silently prays to God to fulfill her wish one day.
Elsewhere, another storyline begins to unfold in the Poddar house.
Manisha informs Vidya, Manoj, and Sanjay that Aryan has already chosen a girl for himself. She feels heartbroken because she always dreamed of selecting a bride for her son. Aryan’s decision has shattered that dream.
Back to the main story, Armaan begins questioning Kaveri about her involvement in his meeting with Abhira.
At the same time, Abhira looks at the photos from the previous night and becomes shocked. She wonders whether she was truly about to marry Armaan again while intoxicated.
Armaan confronts Kaveri and asks why she sent him to the Holi party when she already knew that Abhira would be there.
Kaveri initially ignores his questions.
Armaan becomes frustrated and accuses her of creating turmoil in his life. He tells her that she cannot simply stir chaos and then remain silent.
Kaveri finally decides to tell him the truth.
She reveals that after two years of separation, she contacted Abhira and has been secretly in touch with her since then. According to Kaveri, both Armaan and Abhira are mature individuals but easily influenced by emotions.
She hoped that if they met face to face, they would finally talk openly and resolve their misunderstandings.
However, Armaan reacts angrily. He asks Kaveri to stop interfering in his life and making decisions on his behalf.
Kaveri calmly reminds him that if she had not intervened the previous night, he and Abhira would have already married again while intoxicated.
She asks Armaan to pause and think carefully about what she is trying to explain instead of blaming her immediately.
Soon Vidya enters the conversation and confronts Kaveri.
Vidya accuses Kaveri of betraying her trust by secretly communicating with Abhira. Kaveri responds that she simply did what she believed was right.
Vidya remains firm in her opinion. She believes that Abhira’s return will bring chaos into Armaan and Mukti’s lives. She declares that she will never allow Abhira to come back into their family.
Kaveri quietly replies that nothing is impossible.
Meanwhile, Abhira remains restless after remembering the previous night. The thought that she almost married Armaan again disturbs her deeply.
Nilesh and Jaya approach Abhira and ask her about Armaan. They hope she will share the truth with them.
However, Abhira unexpectedly distances herself from them. She tells them that she does not want to discuss anything because they are not her family anymore.
Her words break Nilesh and Jaya’s hearts.
