Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 12th March 2026 Written Update: Ritik–Munni’s Growing Bond, Karan–Nandini Marriage Crisis Deepens
The episode opens with Ritik speaking to Munni after meeting Mitali. He reassures Munni that he will fight for full custody of Timsi and will do everything possible to give his daughter a stable future. Munni calmly listens and then informs Ritik that she recently met Karan and Nandini, who have arrived from abroad.
Ritik immediately goes to meet them. When he reaches there, he notices that Samira looks disturbed and emotional. He tries to talk to her, but she avoids answering him properly. Soon Ritik meets Karan and Nandini, who pretend everything is normal in front of him. Ritik warmly welcomes them and expresses happiness that they came to attend his wedding.
However, Karan unexpectedly makes a sarcastic remark. He jokes that marriage mostly brings taunts and problems rather than happiness. Ritik finds the comment strange but does not understand the tension between them and decides not to question it further.
Later, Ritik again approaches Samira and gently asks her why she seems upset. At first she lies, but eventually she opens up slightly. Meanwhile, behind closed doors Karan and Nandini continue arguing. Nandini tells Karan she is exhausted from pretending that everything is fine in front of the family.
Samira finally reveals the truth to Ritik. She admits that she has been mentally stressed because her parents are constantly fighting. She has even started counseling sessions to cope with the emotional pressure. Samira confesses her biggest fear — that one day her parents might separate.
Ritik consoles her and tries to reassure her that her parents are mature enough to solve their problems. He tells her not to lose hope and encourages her to stay strong.
But the situation worsens when Nandini tells Karan she wants a divorce. She says that after Ritik’s wedding ceremony is over, she plans to reveal the truth in front of everyone and officially separate from him. Karan is stunned but Nandini remains firm in her decision.
Meanwhile, Ritik cannot stop thinking about Munni. He recalls their past memories together and feels emotional about how their relationship has evolved over time. Unable to control his feelings, Ritik decides to visit Munni.
Ritik arrives at Munni’s place with vada pav, a snack that reminds them both of their old days when Munni used to attend night school. Munni initially scolds him for arriving unexpectedly, but eventually invites him inside.
They sit together and share the vada pav while reminiscing about the past. Ritik tells Munni that he loves seeing her smile and admits he was missing her terribly. Munni becomes shy hearing this. Ritik playfully says he is ready to wait for her forever if needed. The moment between them becomes tender and romantic before Ritik leaves.
Elsewhere, preparations for Ritik and Munni’s mehndi ceremony begin at Shantiniketan. Sobha organizes the event while the entire family gathers to celebrate. The atmosphere becomes festive and cheerful.
During the ceremony, Pari overhears Sobha discussing relationships and marriage. This leads to an emotional conversation between them. Pari admits she once ignored a good man like Ajay because she was blinded by Ranvijay’s influence.
She regrets her past mistakes and says she may have lost the chance to build a happy life with Ajay. Sobha consoles her and encourages her not to lose hope because life often gives second chances.
As the mehndi ceremony continues, Parth meets Vaishnavi and asks why she hasn’t applied mehndi yet. Their conversation catches Karan’s attention. Karan jokingly asks Tulsi if something is going on between Parth and Vaishnavi.
Tulsi dismisses the idea and says they are simply good friends.
Tulsi then notices that Nandini is not participating in the mehndi ceremony. When she asks the reason, Nandini claims she is allergic to mehndi. Karan quickly supports her explanation and says it might be due to jet lag and travel exhaustion.
However, Tulsi senses that something deeper is troubling Nandini. She realizes that the tension between Karan and Nandini is affecting the entire family.
Determined to resolve the issue, Tulsi decides she will personally speak with Nandini and understand what is really happening in their marriage.
The episode ends with celebrations continuing on the surface while serious relationship conflicts simmer underneath.
