Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 14th March 2026 Written Update: Abhira Pretends To Be Armaan’s Wife As Damyanti Fixes Aryan–Disha Wedding

The episode begins with a tense yet formal gathering at the Poddar house as Disha’s family arrives to discuss her alliance with Aryan. Disha respectfully touches Kaveri’s feet while Damyanti silently signals her to maintain proper decorum. Disha quickly pulls her veil over her head, making it clear that her family values traditional customs. Damyanti apologizes politely to the Poddars for any inconvenience, but her tone already hints that she is closely observing everything.

Manisha tries to lighten the atmosphere by saying their family is modern and everyone prefers modern dressing. Damyanti instantly notices Manisha’s outfit and comments on it sharply, making Manisha uncomfortable enough to quickly cover her dress. The conversation already begins with subtle judgment and awkwardness.

The Poddars welcome Disha’s family warmly and serve refreshments. Damyanti immediately taunts them for serving cheese along with lemon water, suggesting it is a strange combination. Disha’s father calmly asks them to just serve lemon water since their family prefers traditional arrangements. Surprisingly, Disha’s family seems satisfied with the simple lemon water.

Armaan quietly observes everything and begins wondering who changed the planned refreshments. Manisha had earlier arranged coffee for the guests. Armaan quickly realizes that Abhira must have changed the plan to make the guests comfortable. Even though she is not present, her thoughtful gesture silently saves the situation.

Trying to move the meeting forward, Armaan asks Aryan and Disha to talk about how they first met. Aryan begins to explain that they met at a wedding and almost reveals that they got locked in a room together during the event. Disha quickly signals him to stop before he reveals too much. Aryan corrects himself and says they simply met at a wedding and played games together.

Manisha teasingly asks Damyanti whether she carries a priest with her everywhere. Damyanti confidently replies that most of the time she does because rituals are important to her. The conversation then turns serious when Manisha asks about fixing a wedding date.

Instead of answering directly, Damyanti suddenly asks Armaan about his wife. Aryan immediately says that Armaan’s wife is out of the city. Armaan becomes annoyed and asks Aryan why he is lying, warning him that lies cannot work for long.

Manoj tries to manage the situation and claims that Abhira is not well. Tanya adds that she has a cold, which is why she is not present. Damyanti refuses to accept the excuses. She clearly declares that until she meets Armaan’s wife, there will be no discussion about Aryan and Disha’s alliance. She becomes completely adamant about seeing Abhira.

Meanwhile, Abhira secretly decides to run away from the house to avoid the situation. As she tries to leave quietly, she almost slips and falls. Armaan appears just in time and catches her, holding her hand firmly. In that moment, Abhira asks him not to leave her hand. Armaan softly promises that he never will.

Armaan asks her where she was going. Abhira honestly admits she was trying to escape the house. Armaan explains that Disha’s family is demanding to meet his wife and he cannot force her to do something she does not want. Abhira admits that she feels extremely uncomfortable pretending to be his wife in front of everyone.

Back inside, the Poddar family begins worrying that Abhira will refuse to appear. Manisha blames Manoj, saying his lie may break Aryan’s heart. Manoj insists he only lied to protect Aryan’s happiness. Sanjay believes they have insulted Abhira enough for her to stay away. Tanya disagrees and says Sanjay is underestimating Abhira’s kindness.

Just then, everyone is stunned when Abhira walks into the room with Armaan.

Abhira remembers Armaan explaining how Damyanti had announced that she would not finalize Aryan and Disha’s alliance unless Armaan’s wife appeared. Armaan had admitted that Aryan’s heart would break if the alliance failed, but he promised to handle the situation somehow.

Hearing this, Abhira decides to step forward for Aryan’s happiness. She chooses to pretend to be Armaan’s wife, even though it makes her uncomfortable.

Aryan and Disha both feel relieved and happy seeing Abhira arrive.

Damyanti begins questioning Abhira immediately. She asks whether Abhira is happy in her family. Abhira responds with calm intelligence, giving careful answers without revealing her true situation. Damyanti then asks whether the Poddars support their daughter-in-law.

Abhira replies wisely that if a husband supports his wife, she can win every battle in life. Her words make both Armaan and Abhira silently remember their painful past and unresolved issues.

Abhira then tells Armaan that she understands what true love means. She adds that just because she did not receive true love does not mean Aryan will not get it.

Damyanti finally announces that Aryan and Disha’s wedding will take place within seven days. The sudden announcement surprises everyone.

To celebrate the decision, Damyanti asks Armaan and Abhira to feed sweets to each other as a symbolic gesture. Both hesitate awkwardly, clearly uncomfortable with the situation.

At that moment, Vidya pulls Armaan aside for a serious conversation. She reminds him that he has started this husband-wife drama, but asks what he will do when Myra arrives for Aryan’s wedding. Her question leaves Armaan completely stunned and confused.

The episode ends with Armaan standing there, realizing that the situation is about to become even more complicated.

In the precap, Myra becomes excited after hearing about Aryan’s wedding. Armaan tells her that she cannot attend the wedding. Meanwhile, Myra and Mukti secretly plan to use Aryan’s wedding as an opportunity to bring their parents closer again.

Review

This episode focuses strongly on emotional tension and social pressure. Damyanti’s character adds sharp drama because she constantly tests the Poddar family’s honesty and values. Her insistence on meeting Armaan’s wife creates the main conflict of the episode.

Abhira’s decision to step forward and protect Aryan’s happiness highlights her compassionate nature. Even though she feels uncomfortable and hurt, she still chooses to help the family. This moment reinforces her emotional strength.

The sweet-feeding scene works as an uncomfortable reminder of the unresolved relationship between Armaan and Abhira. Their hesitation reflects how complicated their bond has become.

The precap suggests the drama will intensify once Myra enters the picture. Her presence could easily expose the truth behind Armaan and Abhira’s act, raising the stakes for the upcoming wedding.
