Itti Si Khushi 16th March 2026 Written Update: Sanjay’s Desperation and Anvita’s Struggle Before Court
The episode begins with a shocking moment when Madhuri finds Sanjay lying unconscious. Panicking, she repeatedly calls his name and tries to wake him up. After noticing signs of a sleeping pill overdose, she quickly realizes the seriousness of the situation. Without wasting time, she calls the doctor and tries to revive Sanjay while waiting for medical help.
Meanwhile, Anvita is busy handling her catering work. She confirms the arrangements with the event owner and politely asks about the payment for the service. The owner tells her to focus on completing the catering first and assures her that the payment will be cleared after the event. Although the delay worries her, Anvita agrees because she urgently needs the work.
Back at Sanjay’s house, the doctor arrives and examines him. He later informs Madhuri that Sanjay’s condition is not critical but warns her that he is under extreme mental stress. The doctor advises her to take proper care of him and make sure he remains calm. After the doctor leaves, Madhuri confronts Sanjay and asks why he took such a drastic step.
Sanjay emotionally admits that life feels meaningless without Anvita. He believes that if he loses the custody case in court the next day, Anvita will definitely divorce him as well. According to him, losing both his children and his marriage would leave him with nothing to live for. Madhuri tries to comfort him and promises that they will do everything possible to bring Anvita back into their lives.
The next morning, Anvita goes to a temple and prays sincerely. She asks for strength and hopes the custody case will end in her favor so that her siblings can return home safely.
Later, Diya arrives with the restaurant’s earnings and gives them to Anvita. She asks whether Anvita received the payment for the catering service. Anvita tells her that Shruti still hasn’t paid her yet. Diya becomes irritated and says this is unfair, but Anvita explains that Shruti asked her to finish the catering first. She reassures Diya that she will collect the money before the court hearing.
Anvita also shares another hopeful update. She believes her siblings may soon find strong evidence against Sanjay that could help her win the custody case.
At the same time, Siddhu secretly sends Bunny to Sanjay’s room to retrieve his mobile phone. Bunny successfully manages to steal the phone without anyone noticing. Siddhu and the children feel relieved because they believe the phone contains important proof against Sanjay.
They immediately call Anvita and inform her that they have finally found strong evidence. They promise to send the proof to her soon. Hearing this news fills Anvita with happiness. She excitedly shares the update with Diya, and both of them celebrate the moment with hope.
Soon after, Hetal arrives with food and asks Anvita to eat something before leaving. However, Anvita asks her to give the food to Yashwant instead because he likes parotta. When she tries to find him, she becomes worried after realizing he is nowhere around.
Anvita decides to search for Yashwant immediately, but Diya reminds her that she must reach the court on time. At that moment, Virat arrives and offers to find Yashwant himself. He promises to bring him back safely so Anvita can focus on the court case. Trusting Virat, Anvita agrees to his help.
Meanwhile, just before Siddhu can send the evidence to Anvita, Madhuri suddenly intervenes. She takes the phone and deletes all the proof stored in it. Siddhu and the children desperately try to stop her, but Madhuri refuses to listen. She says that as a mother, her first priority is her son’s happiness, even if it means destroying the evidence. Siddhu and the children are heartbroken as they watch the proof disappear.
Elsewhere, Virat finally finds Yashwant standing outside a large house where security guards are trying to push him away. Virat immediately steps in and scolds the guards for treating the elderly man so disrespectfully. At that moment, a young boy named Rinku comes out of the house and confirms that Yashwant is actually his grandfather.
Virat learns from the security guards that Yashwant belongs to the wealthy family living there but had somehow been separated from them. He immediately informs Anvita about the situation and asks her to help reunite Yashwant with his family. Anvita agrees to support the effort.
Later, Sanjay mockingly taunts Anvita’s siblings for failing to help their sister. His arrogant behavior frustrates Siddhu, who worries about how they will explain the destroyed evidence to Anvita.
Meanwhile, Anvita visits Shruti’s office to collect her payment but learns that Shruti has gone to her farmhouse. The news leaves Anvita anxious because she urgently needs the money before the court hearing.
Her stress increases further when Siddhu finally calls her and reveals that Madhuri deleted the evidence against Sanjay. Anvita feels devastated because the proof could have strengthened her case.
In another development, Virat and Hetal cleverly disguise themselves to enter Yashwant’s family home. They trick the household members into accepting Yashwant back and reunite him with his family.
Meanwhile, Sanjay secretly thanks his friend Abhishek for helping him manipulate his mother during the situation.
The episode ends with Anvita facing mounting pressure before the court hearing, unaware that another crisis is about to strike.
