Jhanak 17th March 2026 Written Update: Rishi Decides to Bring His Family as Jhanak Refuses to Return

Today’s episode begins with Jhanak confronting Rishi with her pain. She tells him that if their marriage truly mattered to him, he would have never forgotten it. She reminds him that she walked away only because he erased her from his life. With a heavy heart, she asks him to leave.

Rishi refuses to accept that. He says he cannot walk away because Jhanak is his life. Veer steps in and tells Rishi to leave, reminding him that Jhanak has already returned to her village and he should go back to Aditi. But Rishi makes it clear that Aditi is no longer part of his life because he has divorced her. According to him, Jhanak is his real wife.

Parashar acknowledges that they know Jhanak is Rishi’s wife, but the world does not. Sakhi adds another condition and says that if Rishi truly wants Jhanak back, he must prove her position publicly as his wife and daughter-in-law of his family.

Rishi boldly declares that he is ready to shout in front of the entire village that Jhanak is his wife. However, Sakhi doubts his sincerity and reminds him that he might forget her again. Rishi defends himself by saying it was not his fault that he lost his memory. Mangal points out that the real problem is that he remembered everyone except Jhanak.

Sakhi then sets a clear condition. Rishi must return with his family and complete all the remaining post-marriage rituals. Only then will they allow Jhanak to go with him. Parashar firmly supports this and says his daughter is not a toy to be taken away casually. He insists that Rishi’s family must come respectfully and ask for her.

Rishi accepts the challenge without hesitation. He promises that he will bring his family and take Jhanak back with full respect. Hearing this, Jhanak becomes emotional, though she tries to stay strong.

As Rishi leaves, he senses that Jhanak has still not forgiven him. Jhanak, on the other hand, breaks down and hugs Parashar, unable to control her emotions.

Later, Jhanak questions Parashar about her own feelings. She wonders if she is wrong to feel hurt and angry. She cannot understand why Rishi remembered Aditi but not her. Parashar comforts her and says her emotions are completely valid.

Jhanak then shifts her thoughts to Nutan and asks about her past. Parashar shows her an old photograph of Nutan. Seeing it, Jhanak becomes deeply emotional. She recalls how Aniruddh once accepted her wholeheartedly and later regretted rejecting her.

She makes it clear that accepting Aniruddh never meant forgetting Parashar. She reminds him that he stood by her and Nutan when no one else did and protected them through everything. Parashar is moved and hugs her, sharing a heartfelt moment.

Meanwhile, at Rishi’s house, the family questions him for leaving without informing them. Indumati and others express their concern. Neelu even says he should have taken Aditi along.

Rishi reveals that he met Jhanak, but she refused to return. He explains that she will only come back if the family visits Simulboni and completes the remaining rituals. He requests everyone to support him.

Abhimanyu agrees, admitting that they made mistakes and must now correct them. Rishi makes it clear that he only wants Jhanak back. Tanushri asks if he has regained all his memories. Rishi confirms that he remembers everything and promises that Jhanak will not be tested again.

Though Tanushri believes Jhanak may not be right for him, she agrees to accept her for Rishi’s happiness. Putul becomes excited about going to Simulboni and performing the rituals.

Just then, Aditi arrives, creating tension. Rishi questions her presence and reminds her that they are divorced. He offers to give compensation but asks her to leave his life.

Aditi refuses to accept this and insists that she is still his wife. Rishi accuses her of taking advantage of his memory loss. He says his marriage with Jhanak is real and not a joke.

Despite Aditi claiming that she genuinely cared for him, the family supports Rishi. They ask her to step aside and let him live his life. Rishi firmly states that he has no relationship with Aditi anymore.

Tanushri and Indumati try to make Aditi understand that Rishi’s happiness lies with Jhanak. But Aditi refuses to accept defeat. She claims that Jhanak can never love Rishi the way she does and even curses their relationship before leaving.

In Simulboni, Aniruddh, Dritimaan, and Sanjhbati arrive at Parashar’s house. Jhanak gets emotional seeing them and hugs Sanjhbati. Sanjhbati gently asks her what happened and whether Rishi came to meet her.

The episode ends on an emotional note, with relationships getting more complicated and decisions becoming heavier.
