Saru 18th March 2026 Written Update: Saru Faces Rejection, Rajat’s Truth Shocks Her

The episode opens on a tense yet hopeful note as the family gathers, waiting for an important email regarding Saru’s IAS coaching application. There is a mix of casual chatter and hidden anxiety. Tea is being served, but Ved looks restless. He refuses tea, clearly distracted. His mind is fixed on the application response. The others try to lighten the mood, but Ved’s uneasiness is evident.

Suddenly, the awaited email arrives. The atmosphere instantly shifts. Ved becomes nervous and hesitates to check it. Pooja steps in to open the mail, but even she feels the tension. As the result is revealed, the room falls silent. Saru’s application has been rejected.

Ved is shocked and unable to process the rejection. He reminds everyone that he submitted all of Saru’s achievements, her certificates, and even her title as Student of the Year. Despite everything, she has been turned down. The disbelief is clear on his face.

Tara, however, reacts differently. Instead of supporting Saru, she takes this as an opportunity to mock her. She bluntly says that Saru may be special to Ved, but the world doesn’t see her that way. She calls it a reality check and claims that there are countless people like Saru. She even questions whether Saru can fulfill her promise of topping the IAS exam, suggesting that clearing prelims itself will be difficult.

Ved immediately defends Saru. He insists that Saru is not one in lakhs but one in crores. His faith in her remains unshaken. He decides that he will personally meet the coaching institute and question their decision.

Meanwhile, the consequences of Anika’s punishment start showing. Her luxurious life has completely changed. She struggles with basic discomforts. Her expensive products are replaced with simple items, and even hot water is no longer available. She gets furious, blaming Saru for her situation. When she tries to go to college, she realizes that even her car access has been taken away.

The driver refuses to take her, reminding her of Chandrakant’s orders. She is given a small amount of money for travel and food. Anika is shocked and humiliated. She is forced to consider traveling by auto or bus, something she cannot accept easily. Eventually, she ends up in an auto, clearly uncomfortable and frustrated by her new reality.

On the other hand, Saru remains focused and determined. She shares her dream with Chandrakant, promising that she will work hard and not disappoint anyone. Her confidence and sincerity stand in contrast to Anika’s frustration.

Soon, Saru and Chandrakant visit a coaching center. There, they discover something shocking. A so-called topper featured on the institute’s board is actually being used for fake publicity. The boy admits that he has been paid to pose as a topper for multiple institutes. The truth exposes a major scam in the education system.

Chandrakant confronts the coaching center staff and questions their unethical practices. The situation becomes intense as the reality of fake promotions and misleading advertisements comes to light. Saru witnesses everything and begins to understand how complicated the world of competitive exams is.

Amid this, Rajat comes across an important moment. She helps a woman by fixing a model that was crucial for her career presentation. The woman explains how much effort she has put in over six months and how important this opportunity is for her future.

This leads to the introduction of Rajat Patil, the highly reputed IAS coach. His personality is strong, confident, and somewhat intimidating. Ved comes there and sees Rajat. He observes his teaching style and is impressed by his unique methods. He explains concepts in practical ways, using real-life examples and exercises that enhance focus, observation, and analytical thinking.

Rajat demonstrates a lesson using a game, teaching students about concentration, probability, and pattern recognition. His approach is unconventional yet effective. Students admire him, and his reputation as a top coach becomes evident.

However, Rajat’s views take a controversial turn. He openly expresses his belief that girls often lack commitment toward their careers. He argues that when faced with choices, they tend to prioritize family over professional goals. According to him, IAS preparation demands complete dedication, and he doubts whether girls can maintain that level of commitment.

Ved overhears his statements and feels deeply affected. She disagrees with his thinking but also feels challenged by his perspective. Rajat makes it clear that he does not admit girls into his coaching because he believes they cannot pay the price required for such a demanding career.

Despite this, Saru does not back down. She decides that she will prove him wrong. Her determination grows stronger. She declares that she will study under Rajat and also top the exam, showing that his mindset is flawed.

Ved, however, reacts strongly to Rajat’s views. He feels that someone with such a narrow mindset does not deserve to guide Saru. He is protective and doesn’t want Saru to face such negativity. But Saru sees this as a challenge she must overcome.

Later, Saru reflects on Rajat’s teaching methods and his students’ success. She learns that many toppers have emerged from his coaching. This strengthens her resolve to learn from the best, no matter how difficult it may be.

Chandrakant notices Saru’s inner conflict. He understands that Saru misses Ved and feels emotional about their distance. However, he also encourages Saru to stay focused on her goal. Saru decides that she will visit Rajat’s coaching center and try to secure admission directly.

The episode ends with Saru reaching Rajat’s center. She watches him teaching and realizes that he is indeed the mentor she needs. Despite his harsh views, she believes that his guidance can help her achieve her dream.

Her journey now enters a new phase where she must not only prepare for one of the toughest exams but also break stereotypes and prove her worth in a world that doubts her.
