Saru 20th March 2026 Written Update: Anika Instigates Rajat Against Saru, Saru Challenges Rajat; A Battle of Beliefs Begins

The episode opens with festive energy as the day of Gudi Padwa brings a sense of new beginnings. Saru stands with deep faith, noticing symbolic signs around her. Rajat comes to help Saru. He guides people to place offerings near a symbolic structure, assuring that heartfelt wishes made today will be fulfilled. Saru takes this as a divine hint. Her heart settles on one belief that Rajat is meant to be her teacher, her Dronacharya. She refuses to give up and decides to approach him again, convinced that repeated signs cannot be ignored.

At home, the atmosphere shifts sharply. Anika vents out her frustration over the strict punishment she is facing. Her complaints reflect her discomfort as she struggles to adjust to a simple life without luxury. She rants about sleeping on the floor, dealing with mosquitoes, traveling in an auto, and losing all her privileges. Urmila listens helplessly, admitting that she has already lost her power in the house and cannot support Anika openly. The mother-daughter bond looks fragile, filled with desperation rather than strength. Anika demands a way out of this life, but Urmila asks her to endure just a little longer, hoping for a solution later. Their conversation reveals growing bitterness and helplessness.

Meanwhile, Saru stops Rajat from leaving. She shows her determination. She stands firm and refuses to leave until he hears her out. Rajat, irritated by her persistence, mocks her efforts and repeats his rigid stance that he does not admit girls into his coaching. He dismisses her emotional strength as drama and warns her not to waste his time.

Saru, however, stands her ground. She calmly explains that she understands the value of time, which is why she wants him as her teacher. Her words carry quiet strength as she speaks about her dream of becoming an IAS officer and even surpassing him. She clears that Ved’s support is not her weakness but her strength. Love and family, according to her, are not distractions but the very forces that give her courage.

She challenges Rajat’s mindset by bringing up his own statistics about the low percentage of girls clearing IAS. Saru flips the narrative, explaining that women fight battles far greater than men, balancing responsibilities and dreams at the same time. She speaks about the sacrifices women make silently while still holding onto hope. Her words hit deep, questioning not just Rajat but the entire system that limits opportunities for women.

Rajat listens but remains unmoved on the surface. He sticks to his policy, stating that his coaching is for serious aspirants, not for emotional arguments. Saru doesn’t back down. On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa, she makes a bold promise. She declares that his rules will break, his thinking will change, and one day a girl named Saraswati Bajaj will study in his class. Her confidence leaves a visible impact, even if Rajat does not admit it.

Back home, another track unfolds. Saroja is visibly disturbed. She almost burns her hand while lost in thought, and Chandrakant notices her unusual behavior. She tries to brush it off, but fear grips her. She recalls seeing a mysterious old man and feels a deep connection to her past. Her inner conflict grows stronger as she fears that a hidden truth might come out. The thought that someone from her past has returned shakes her completely. She worries if that person has seen Saru, hinting at a dangerous secret yet to be revealed.

Saru, on the other hand, remains focused. She shares her belief with Chandrakant that Rajat will eventually become her guru. Her faith feels unshakable now. Chandrakant blesses her with pride, trusting her determination. Their bond reflects warmth and support, a contrast to the chaos around them.

Elsewhere, Anika continues her scheming. She grows restless seeing Saru’s confidence and begins plotting new ways to break her. Her hatred intensifies as she decides that Saru should not succeed in any way.

The story takes another turn when Anika reaches Rajat’s academy, saying she is Saru’s sister. She emotionally pleads with Rajat, claiming Saru’s life depends on becoming an IAS officer. She twists the narrative, presenting Saru as someone driven only by love and marriage conditions rather than passion. Rajat gets further convinced that Saru lacks seriousness. He harshly rejects the request, clarifying that he builds careers, not relationships.

Anika feels victorious. She believes this rejection will end Saru’s dreams. Her confidence grows as she assumes Saru now has no path left to achieve her goal.

Back home, Saroja decides to leave for an ashram to perform special prayers for Saru’s safety. Her fear pushes her toward faith, hoping to protect her daughter from unseen dangers. Saru feels emotional but stays strong, focusing on her studies as her mother leaves.

The episode closes with Saru standing outside Rajat’s academy once again. She hesitates for a moment but gathers her courage. She decides not to step inside immediately and instead waits patiently, believing that persistence will win this battle. Her determination shines as she silently vows that no matter how stubborn Rajat is, she will become even more stubborn. She will not leave until she makes him accept her as his student.

The moment captures her spirit perfectly. This is no longer just about IAS or love. It becomes a fight for identity, belief, and breaking barriers.
