Review

This episode works as a strategic slow-burn, where tension builds through control, manipulation, and small emotional wins rather than big explosive twists.

The biggest highlight is the power struggle around Santosh.

Karishma tries to isolate her, but Dev, Avinash, and Vasudha quietly push back. The storytelling here is smart — instead of direct confrontation, the family uses emotional presence to break Karishma’s control. The “storytime” scene may look simple, but it’s actually a clever win for Dev’s side. It shows that Karishma’s authority is fragile if challenged correctly.

Karishma continues to shine as a calculated antagonist.

She doesn’t overplay her hand. She shifts tactics — from controlling access to Santosh, to emotionally manipulating her against Chandrika, and now even targeting Dev personally. Her move to angle herself toward Dev is especially dangerous because it mixes manipulation with emotional positioning.

Vasudha remains the emotional core and silent fighter.

She understands the threat clearly and thinks practically. Her idea to bring Dev and Avinash closer to Santosh shows she’s no longer passive. Still, her helplessness in front of Karishma’s blackmail keeps the tension alive.

Dev’s role is evolving nicely.

He’s not just reacting anymore — he’s planning. Whether it’s handling Santosh, supporting Vasudha, or investigating Hanumant’s case, he feels more active and layered. His softer moments with Vasudha balance the heavy drama well and keep their relationship emotionally grounded.

Santosh, once again, becomes the unintentional pivot.

Her trust keeps shifting, making her easy to influence. That unpredictability is what fuels the drama. Her growing anger toward Chandrika shows how easily Karishma is reshaping her perception.

The only slight drawback is pacing.

Some portions feel stretched, especially around repeated confrontations, but they still serve the larger buildup.

Overall, the episode is less about big reveals and more about positioning characters for a bigger clash ahead. Karishma is tightening her grip, but the family has started pushing back — and that balance makes the track engaging.
