Saru 26th March 2026 Written Update: Rajat’s New Task, Saru Breaks Down as Zero Marks Create Rift with Ved
The episode opens with tension already building around Saru’s shocking result. The truth slowly comes out that Rajat has deliberately given Saru zero, not just as a test but also to shake her confidence. This creates a storm in everyone’s mind, especially for those who care about her deeply.
At home, a parallel drama unfolds as Urmila once again tries to grab Chandrakant’s attention. She pretends to suffer a serious health attack, hoping he will rush to her side with concern. The situation quickly turns unintentionally comic when the family starts treating her in bizarre ways, assuming it is something else. Her act gets exposed, leaving everyone amused while she is embarrassed. This moment adds a light break before the heavy emotional storm ahead.
Soon, the focus shifts back to Saru. She returns home after her coaching, unusually silent and lost. The family notices her dull expression. Chandrakant warmly asks about her first day, expecting her to shine as always. Instead, Saru hands him her notebook, asking for his signature. Everyone assumes she must have topped again.
The truth hits hard.
Chandrakant opens the notebook and freezes. Written clearly is zero. The entire room falls silent. The shock is visible on every face. The girl who has always been a topper now stands with nothing in her hand.
Ved steps forward and takes the blame. He admits that Saru’s zero is because of him. Everyone looks confused. Ved explains that he went to Rajat’s coaching centre and argued with him. In anger, he even broke a wall there. Rajat, hurt and furious, took revenge by giving Saru zero. Ved reveals that Rajat wants to break Saru’s confidence.
Saru is shaken hearing this.
For a moment, emotions flood her eyes, but she gathers herself and speaks with strength. She refuses to accept that her marks are someone’s revenge. She says that these marks are a reflection of her ability at this stage. She recalls how she has always topped, but when it comes to something as big as IAS, she realized she is still behind many others. She accepts the zero as a reality check, not an insult.
Her words carry pain but also determination.
Saru declares that this zero is not the end but the beginning. She promises that she will work harder and prove herself worthy. Chandrakant supports her, reminding everyone that she is capable and doesn’t need validation from anyone.
Ved, however, refuses to accept this. He continues to argue that Rajat is wrong and not a good teacher. He questions Saru’s decision to still trust him. Saru calmly defends Rajat. She explains that every teacher has a different method. Rajat may be strict and unconventional, but his approach is sharp and effective.
She draws a clear line.
She tells Ved that her marks will improve through her hard work, not because someone interferes. Her tone is respectful but firm, making it clear that she doesn’t want him to step into her journey like this again.
Ved feels helpless.
He tries to make her understand that Rajat is intentionally hurting her, but Saru refuses to see it that way. She believes that challenges are part of learning and she is ready to face them.
Later, emotions take over Saru. Away from everyone, she breaks down. She questions why Ved cannot understand her. She feels hurt that instead of supporting her silently, he complicated things further.
On the other side, Anika and Tara discuss the situation. Anika happily shares that Rajat’s entry has already created cracks between Ved and Saru. She reveals how Ved created a scene at the coaching centre, making things worse. Both of them are pleased seeing the growing distance between the couple.
Anika cleverly fuels Ved’s worry. She calls him and exaggerates Saru’s struggle, telling him that Rajat made Saru do physical labor as punishment. Ved gets deeply disturbed imagining Saru suffering.
Meanwhile, another dark track builds silently. Bhola, who is already unstable, is manipulated again. Urmila reminds him of a twisted past and provokes him to take revenge against Saru. She uses his emotional weakness, especially his attachment to a doll, to push him toward harming Saru. Bhola’s mind gets clouded with anger as he agrees to take revenge.
Back to Saru, despite her anger, she cannot ignore Ved’s concern. When he comes to help her, she doesn’t completely reject him. There is still care between them, but now it is layered with misunderstanding and ego. She accepts his help but reminds him that she is still upset with him.
Their relationship now stands at a fragile point.
Saru continues focusing on her goal. She convinces herself that Rajat’s harshness is necessary for her growth. She believes he will eventually shape her into a stronger person.
At home, a positive atmosphere briefly returns as the family celebrates a religious occasion. Saru performs rituals with full devotion, bringing happiness to Dadi and others. For a moment, everything feels peaceful again.
Before leaving for coaching, Saru takes responsibility for Bhola as well. She arranges for him to go to the college garden, trying to give him a better environment. Her kind nature shines again, unaware of the danger being plotted against her.
The episode closes with contrasting emotions.
Saru walks forward with determination, ready to face Rajat’s tough training. Ved watches from a distance, torn between love and frustration. Anika silently celebrates the growing gap. And in the shadows, Bhola’s revenge slowly takes shape. Rajat assigns a new task to his students. He asks Saru to prove herself in the invention task. What will Saru do to outwit others?
Saru’s journey has officially entered its toughest phase, where every step forward comes with emotional and physical challenges.
