Jhanak 5th April 2026 Written Update: Putul Agrees to Divorce, Jhanak Meets Arya, Rishi Grows Suspicious

Today’s episode quietly builds emotional tension as Jhanak takes a risky step to uncover the truth, while relationships begin to crack under hidden secrets.

The episode begins with the family trying to comfort Putul, who is clearly struggling with her emotions. Sanjhbati gently brings her downstairs, hoping being around loved ones will ease her pain. Everyone tries in their own way—Tanushri prepares her favorite food, Indumati advises her not to hurt herself, and Abhimanyu asks her not to cry over someone who doesn’t deserve it. But Putul feels overwhelmed being the center of attention. She admits she just needs time to heal. Rishi, however, takes a more direct approach. He tells her to divorce Arya and move on, assuring her that he will handle everything if she agrees. After a moment of silence, Putul finally agrees. It’s a calm decision on the surface, but the pain behind it is impossible to ignore.

Meanwhile, Rishi notices Jhanak behaving strangely. He catches her with a phone and questions who she was talking to. Jhanak, hiding her true intention, lies and says she was speaking to a friend. When Rishi brings up Arya’s letter, she pretends ignorance. But in reality, she has already hidden the letter. Rishi’s anger toward Arya is evident as he says he won’t spare him once he finds him. Jhanak realizes the situation is getting complicated and quickly leaves, trying to avoid further suspicion.

The next day, Jhanak makes a bold decision. She decides to contact Arya herself, believing that only by knowing the full truth can she help Putul. She calls him and introduces herself. Arya responds calmly and immediately asks about Putul, showing that she still matters to him. Jhanak questions his intentions, asking why he remembered Putul after so many years. Arya admits he wants to meet Putul once, even though he knows he has no right left. Jhanak challenges him but eventually agrees to meet him first. She gives him a restaurant address, determined to understand his side before involving Putul.

Back at home, Putul is lost in her emotions, singing and crying at the same time. Jhanak comes to her and gently brings up Arya’s letter again. But Putul refuses to discuss it. She says Arya is no longer part of her reality—he was just a dream that has ended. She believes he wants to marry someone else and has already moved on. Jhanak tries to convince her that things may not be so simple, but Putul has accepted her fate. She says not everyone is meant to have happiness and she is ready to live with that truth. The moment is heartbreaking as Jhanak hugs her, silently promising support.

Soon after, Jhanak prepares to leave the house under the excuse of attending a friend’s birthday party. Abhimanyu finds her timing suspicious and questions her, but Jhanak cleverly sticks to her story. Indumati asks if she informed Rishi, but Jhanak brushes it off, saying she doesn’t need to report everything. Her emotional act convinces the family, and Dadabhai eventually allows her to go, asking her to return before evening. Jhanak agrees, hiding the real purpose of her outing.

At the restaurant, Jhanak finally meets Arya. The meeting is calm but intense. She directly questions him about his intentions and why he sent the letter. Arya reveals a surprising truth—he never betrayed Putul or hid anything from her. He claims that on their wedding night itself, he told her everything honestly. This revelation shocks Jhanak. She points out that regardless of honesty, the emotional impact on Putul must have been devastating. Arya admits his mistake but says he only wanted to free Putul from a relationship that wasn’t real for him.

Jhanak struggles to understand his perspective. She questions how he can walk away so easily after marriage. Arya responds with honesty, saying his feelings don’t allow him to stay, even if society expects it. His words are straightforward but painful. Jhanak, however, senses that the situation might not be as simple as it appears. She asks him not to leave yet, suggesting there might still be a way to resolve things. She decides to take responsibility for finding that solution.

Just as they leave, Aditi notices Jhanak with Arya. She becomes suspicious, wondering who he is and whether Rishi knows about this meeting. This moment hints at trouble ahead, as secrets are on the verge of being exposed.

The episode ends with growing tension—Putul preparing for closure, Jhanak secretly trying to fix things, and Rishi slowly beginning to doubt her actions.
