Jhanak 15th April 2026 Written Update: Rishi Loses Control, Slaps Arya as Putul Announces Divorce Shock

This episode feels like an emotional explosion waiting to happen—and when it does, it leaves everyone shaken.

It begins on a celebratory note.

Putul is introduced on stage, glowing with confidence as the host praises her singing. Tanushri admires her beauty, while Indumati gets emotional watching her. There’s pride in the air, a sense of achievement.

But beneath that calm surface, tensions are already building.

Jhanak receives a call from Arya.

He has arrived.

She immediately rushes out to meet him, asking him to wait near the gate. That urgency doesn’t go unnoticed—Rishi watches everything and assumes the worst.

In his mind, Jhanak is desperate to meet another man.

Outside, Jhanak meets Arya and instinctively holds his hand. That one moment changes everything—because Aditi sees them.

Questions begin forming instantly.

Who is this man?

Why is Jhanak holding his hand?

Jhanak, sensing the situation, quickly composes herself and takes Arya inside, pretending everything is normal. But the damage is already done.

Aditi informs Rishi.

And Rishi reacts.

He chooses to sit beside Aditi, almost deliberately, as if trying to make Jhanak feel the same jealousy he feels. Jhanak notices it too—Rishi isn’t even looking at her anymore.

That silent distance hurts more than words.

Meanwhile, Putul begins her performance, pouring her heart into her music. The audience applauds, but the real drama is unfolding off-stage.

Aditi points Arya out to Rishi.

That’s it.

Rishi loses control.

He sends someone to call Arya outside and follows him, anger taking over completely. Jhanak senses what’s about to happen and rushes after them.

Outside, the confrontation turns ugly.

Rishi doesn’t hold back.

He grabs Arya by the collar and starts shouting, accusing him of ruining Putul’s life. Arya tries to stay calm, but Rishi slaps him.

Once.

Then again.

The situation escalates rapidly.

Arya warns him he can go to the police, but Rishi doesn’t care. In fact, he challenges him—go ahead, and also tell them what you did to Putul.

That line reveals deeper wounds.

Jhanak tries to intervene.

But Rishi pushes her aside.

That moment is disturbing.

Because it’s no longer about anger—it’s about losing control completely.

Rishi continues beating Arya until things spiral out of hand. Jhanak runs to inform Putul, and she arrives with Dritimaan.

Dritimaan steps in and stops Rishi, warning him that Arya could die if this continues.

Putul then makes a shocking declaration.

She says she will divorce Arya.

That line silences everything.

She also reminds Rishi to maintain his dignity as a police officer. In that moment, she becomes the strongest voice in the chaos.

Arya, despite everything, tries to speak to Putul.

But she refuses.

She doesn’t want to hear anything anymore.

Arya accepts it.

He says he will leave if that’s what she wants.

Rishi, still burning with anger, tells him to remove his mask and leave. Arya says he is ready to accept punishment, but before things escalate again, Dritimaan holds Rishi back.

He warns Arya to stay away from Putul and the family.

And finally—

Arya leaves.

But the damage is done.

Aditi watches everything and begins to form her own conclusion—that Rishi is overly possessive, especially when it comes to Jhanak.

Back inside, questions start rising.

Dadabhai notices Putul leaving before completing her performance. Tanushri is confused. Something clearly happened, but no one is saying it openly.

Sanjhbati hints that she knows the truth.

And that truth is about to shake everyone.

The precap raises even bigger questions.

Tanushri confronts Rishi—how can a police officer take the law into his own hands?

Rishi justifies himself, saying he should have acted earlier.

But Sanjhbati brings the real issue forward.

Did he ever ask what Putul wants?

Because legally—

Putul and Arya are still married.

That revelation changes the narrative completely.

Putul herself questions Rishi’s actions, asking why he made such a big decision without her consent.

And then Jhanak delivers the final blow.

She taunts Rishi, telling Putul that he cannot give her the respect she deserves.

That line isn’t just criticism.

It’s truth wrapped in anger.

Review

This episode thrives on emotional intensity. Rishi’s breakdown is raw but problematic, showing how anger can destroy dignity and relationships.

Putul emerges as the strongest character, handling the situation with clarity and control.

Jhanak’s role adds emotional complexity, while Arya’s calmness contrasts sharply with Rishi’s aggression.

If there’s a drawback, it’s Rishi’s extreme reaction, which may feel excessive, but it effectively drives the drama forward.

Overall, it’s a powerful episode that exposes hidden tensions and sets up major confrontations ahead.
