She asks him why he is worried. He tells that Devansh got to know the entire truth, and Vasudha found the CCTV footage as well. He explains the dire consequences to her. She asks him to hide the truth; she is close to her goal now, and she can’t afford to lose. He agrees and demands one crore. She tells that she will arrange the money. He leaves. She thinks about how she will arrange the money so soon.

The next morning, Karishma goes to meet the inspector. She asks him to clear her track record. He agrees. Dev comes there. The inspector joins him. He recalls Dev and Avinash confronting him about Karishma’s exit from the jail. The inspector tells that Karishma’s men were threatening his family. Avinash and Dev scold him. He tells that her game is over and she won’t get another chance this time. He offers 100 crores to the inspector and asks him to shoot Karishma in an encounter. The inspector agrees. Karishma asks if he has gone mad. Dev rebukes her. He tells that she won’t get saved this time. She throws the soil in the inspector’s eyes and runs. Dev stops her. Dev falls into her words. He asks her what she did with Prabhat. She tells that she wants something in return.

He asks why she is stopping Santosh. Vasudha defends Santosh. She scolds Avinash. Karishma asks Dev to wait for her call. She leaves.

Vasudha 17th April 2026 Written Update: Karishma Holds Prabhat’s Truth Hostage, Dev Traps Karishma, But She Plays Her Deadliest Card

This episode starts with tension… and ends with pure frustration.

Karishma is cornered, but never really defeated.

From the very beginning, you can see she’s not scared — she’s calculating. Even when the inspector warns her about Dev and Vasudha getting close to the truth, she doesn’t panic. She simply shifts gears and tries to buy her way out again.

That one crore deal shows her mindset clearly.

For her, everything is a transaction — truth, crime, even justice.

But the real twist comes with the inspector.

Just when it feels like he’s corrupted again, the flashback flips the narrative. Dev, Avinash, and Vasudha already turned the tables on him. That reveal adds a satisfying layer, finally showing the trio thinking ahead instead of reacting late.

Then comes the face-off.

Dev vs Karishma — raw, intense, and long overdue.

Dev isn’t calm anymore. He’s furious, desperate, and ready to cross lines. Offering 100 crores for an encounter? That’s not strategy, that’s emotion taking over.

And honestly, that moment hits hard.

Because it shows how much Prabhat’s disappearance has broken him.

Karishma, on the other hand, stays sharp.

Even in danger, she finds a way out. Throwing soil, escaping, buying time — it’s classic her. But the real masterstroke is what she says next.

She knows about Prabhat.

That one line flips everything again.

Suddenly, Dev loses control of the situation. From aggressor, he becomes someone who needs answers. And Karishma uses that weakness perfectly.

She doesn’t beg.

She bargains.

That’s what makes her dangerous.

Meanwhile, the emotional track at home runs parallel, and it’s equally heavy.

Santosh’s return should have brought stability, but instead it adds more chaos. Her harsh words toward Chandrika feel brutal, especially when Chandrika is already broken.

It’s not just anger — it’s years of pain spilling out.

But timing matters.

And this wasn’t it.

Avinash finally steps up here. His anger feels justified. Watching his mother being blamed in that condition hits a nerve, and his reaction feels real.

Then comes Vasudha.

Calm, composed, and again trying to balance everything.

She doesn’t let the situation explode further. Defending Santosh while understanding Chandrika’s pain shows her emotional maturity. She isn’t choosing sides — she’s trying to hold the family together.

And that’s not easy right now.

The episode ends with Karishma walking away.

Again.

But this time, it doesn’t feel like a simple escape. It feels like she’s holding the biggest card of all — Prabhat’s truth.

What works best:
The Dev–Karishma confrontation and the emotional breakdown across the family.

What frustrates:
Karishma slipping away yet again, just when it feels like justice is close.

Big takeaway:
The power has shifted — not to Dev, not to the family… but back to Karishma.

Overall Review:
An intense, layered episode where emotions run high, plans fail midway, and the villain walks away stronger than before.

Ratings: 4.7/5
