Dev finds his payment has declined. He thinks that Karishma has frozen his bank account. Vasudha gives him the cash to pay the doctor. He tells that he doesn’t need it. He rushes to confront Karishma.

Avinash and Mayur follow Dev. Karishma tells the staff that she is the owner of the company now. She asks them to forget the Chauhan family if they want their jobs. The moment she slaps the employee is especially effective. Not because it’s shocking, but because it shows she’s insecure under that power. She needs fear to stay in control.

Dev’s reaction here feels grounded.

He doesn’t explode blindly. He questions, absorbs, and then quietly promises to rebuild. That restraint makes his arc stronger. The small detail of him accepting he’s now “just an employee” hits harder than any loud confrontation.
