Jhanak 7th May 2026 Written Update: Rishi Shocks Everyone By Rejecting Jhanak’s Unborn Child
Today’s episode begins with Rishi asking Jhanak to reveal the “good news” to the family. Jhanak feels hurt by his constant insults and says she cannot tolerate it anymore. Sanjhbati and Dritimaan try to calm the situation and ask Jhanak to apologize to Rishi so the matter can end peacefully. But Rishi refuses to stop and insists that Jhanak should tell everyone the truth herself.
Jhanak questions Rishi whether the news is important only for her. Dadabhai senses tension and asks what exactly happened. Finally, Jhanak breaks down and reveals that she is pregnant. The family gets emotional and happy hearing the news. Everyone smiles except Rishi, whose silence creates fear in the room.
The atmosphere turns shocking when Rishi suddenly declares that he is not the father of Jhanak’s child. The entire family is left stunned. Abhimanyu angrily asks Rishi whether he is even in his senses. Rishi insists he is speaking the truth. Jhanak, deeply insulted, says she will never agree to a DNA test because she does not want her child to have a father like Rishi.
Meanwhile, at Aditi’s house, she discusses the matter with her family and says she feels bad for Rishi. Arshi refuses to believe Jhanak could betray someone. But Aditi claims Rishi has proof and says Jhanak is involved with Ayushman. Aniruddh immediately defends Jhanak and refuses to believe such accusations against her.
Back at Rishi’s house, Dadabhai lashes out at Rishi for humiliating Jhanak in such a condition. Rishi reveals that Jhanak embarrassed him at his office party while drunk and says marrying her instead of Aditi was his biggest mistake. Jhanak is shattered hearing this. She tells him to do whatever he wants because she no longer cares. She asks him never to show his face to her again.
Abhimanyu tries stopping Jhanak from leaving the house, saying they cannot let her go in this condition. But Jhanak says she cannot stay where the father of her child refuses to accept responsibility. She emotionally leaves the house despite everyone trying to stop her.
Later, Aniruddh decides to personally meet Rishi because he strongly believes Jhanak cannot betray anyone like this. The next day at the hospital, Srishti indirectly taunts Jhanak about visiting Ayushman’s cabin frequently. Jhanak calmly replies that Ayushman assigns duties to them. Srishti continues mocking her, hinting there is more than work between them.
Jhanak later meets Ayushman regarding an emergency case. Ayushman notices her disturbed state and gently asks whether everything is alright at home, leaving Jhanak emotional once again.
The episode ends on a heartbreaking note with Jhanak completely isolated while Rishi remains blinded by suspicion and anger.
Precap: Dritimaan tells Aniruddh that he wants to meet Jhanak. Aniruddh agrees but firmly says Rishi is not allowed to meet her anymore.

This episode delivered one of the harshest emotional breakdowns in recent episodes. Rishi’s public rejection of Jhanak and the unborn child completely changed the relationship dynamics. The confrontation scenes felt intense and painful, especially because Jhanak chose self-respect over endless humiliation.
The family’s support for Jhanak added emotional depth, while Aniruddh standing by her truth gave viewers some hope. The Ayushman angle continues creating suspense, but Rishi’s behavior may push Jhanak permanently away from him now.
