Mangal Lakshmi 7th May 2026 Written Update: Mangal Finds Akshat as Bus Hangs Near Cliff
Today’s episode begins with Mangal desperately searching for Akshat around the temple area. Jairaj also joins her in the search. Mangal keeps showing Akshat’s photo to passersby, hoping someone has seen him, but nobody can help her.
In the middle of her panic, Mangal accidentally slips, but Jairaj catches her before she falls. He asks her to stay calm and focus because they still need to find Akshat. Mangal continues praying silently for her son’s safety.
Meanwhile, the goons bring Akshat to the underground hideout. Shubhi gets shocked seeing him there and realizes that Akshat has also become trapped in the fake currency racket. Sowmya instructs the goons through a walkie-talkie to move all the children to different locations before the police can suspect anything.
Mangal prays before Maata Rani and suddenly notices her bracelet burning near the diya. As the beads scatter on the floor, she hears voices coming from a storm drain nearby. Mangal immediately senses that the hideout might be underground. Jairaj agrees with her suspicion but stops her from rushing inside carelessly. He gives her a bulletproof vest and secretly calls for police backup.
Inside the hideout, Shubhi tries to reveal Sowmya’s truth to Akshat, but before she can speak, Sowmya notices them together. She angrily orders her goons to drag Shubhi away. Suddenly, smoke bombs explode inside the hideout as police officers storm the place.
Chaos spreads everywhere while children scream in fear. Sowmya realizes someone betrayed her and desperately searches for the informer. Mangal keeps searching for Akshat and Shubhi during the raid but loses track of them in the confusion. Jairaj reassures her that the children are being rescued safely.
Soon, news channels begin reporting about the police raid on the fake currency racket. The Saxena family gets shocked after seeing Akshat and Shubhi on television among the rescued children. Kusum desperately tries calling Mangal, but her phone remains switched off.
During the confusion, Sowmya attacks Mangal, suspecting she informed the police. She tries removing Mangal’s veil to expose her identity, but before she succeeds, Jairaj knocks Sowmya unconscious from behind and escapes with Mangal.
Elsewhere, Aarav cleverly steals keys from a distracted cop and escapes from captivity. At the same time, Jairaj learns from Inspector Chowdary that the rescued children are being shifted to a safe house by bus.
But Sowmya refuses to lose the game so easily. She orders her men to kill all the children before they reach safety. Soon, the goons attack the bus and shoot at its tires. The children panic as the driver loses control. The speeding bus dangerously moves toward the edge of a cliff while Sowmya watches the horrifying scene through binoculars with satisfaction.
Mangal gets horrified after hearing the brakes have failed. She immediately asks Jairaj to take her to the location before something terrible happens to Akshat.
The episode ends on a shocking cliffhanger as the bus hangs dangerously near the edge of the cliff with terrified children screaming inside.
Precap: Mangal reaches the cliff and tries calming Akshat, saying his mother is there to save him. Jairaj warns her not to step forward because even a slight movement could make the bus fall into the valley.
Review
This episode delivered nonstop tension and suspense from start to finish. The underground hideout sequence, police raid, and cliffhanger climax kept the drama gripping throughout. Mangal’s emotional desperation as a mother became the strongest part of the episode.
Sowmya’s ruthless side also stood out as she crossed every limit to protect her racket. The final bus sequence created genuine edge-of-the-seat tension.
