Saru 7th May 2026 Written Update Review: Kamini Runs a Wedding Mafia While Saru and Ved Secretly Fight Back
This episode of Saru feels less like a family drama and more like a hostage thriller disguised as a wedding function. Mehendi, guns, hidden cameras, fake emotions, drugged tea plans — the makers truly decided to throw every possible twist into one episode, and surprisingly, it works.
Kamini continues behaving like the final boss of chaos.
The episode begins with her paying the kinners and sending them away, completely unaware that Saru has already entered the house under her nose. Honestly, Saru sneaking inside with the kinners was one of the smarter plans the show has pulled recently. At least somebody in this house is using their brain while criminals casually organize wedding ceremonies with rifles in the background.
Kamini quickly shifts from Haldi to Mehendi as if this hostage wedding package comes with a full event management contract. Poor Ved barely gets time to breathe before another ritual starts. The man has suffered through more forced wedding functions than actual happy moments in life.
Ved refusing to get ready initially was satisfying, but the moment the goons point guns at the family again, reality hits hard. Kamini knows exactly how to emotionally blackmail him. Every single time Ved tries to resist, she uses the family as a shield.
Meanwhile, Rajat finally becomes useful beyond lectures and moral speeches. Him coordinating with Saru outside the house adds urgency to the track. The hidden camera setup gives the episode a thriller-like feel for a change. Watching Saru secretly place cameras while Rajat monitors everything almost feels like they are running a low-budget spy operation inside the Birla mansion.
And honestly? It’s entertaining.
The emotional highlight comes when Ved finally meets Saru secretly. Both of them breaking down and hugging after all the madness actually lands well emotionally. Their scenes feel calmer and more genuine compared to the nonstop screaming and threatening happening elsewhere.
But then comes Anika.
This woman deserves an award for switching personalities every five minutes.
In front of Kamini, she is happily dreaming about becoming Ved’s wife. In front of Ved, she acts helpless and emotionally trapped. In front of Urmila, she becomes the innocent daughter. At this point, even villains from other serials would get confused watching her performance.
The scariest part is Kamini openly saying she will kill the entire family if needed so Ved has no option except accepting Anika. That line alone proves how mentally unhinged this woman has become. She isn’t planning a marriage anymore. She’s planning emotional kidnapping with wedding decorations.
Chandrakant’s scenes continue adding tension too. His sudden breakdown asking for his father creates emotional panic, while Saroja slowly realizes something is deeply wrong at the house. The missed phone calls and fake messages create decent suspense because viewers know disaster is unfolding while outsiders remain unaware.
The episode also cleverly builds suspense around food poisoning the goons. Ved pretending to be hungry while secretly following Saru’s plan was actually smart for once. Usually these plans fail within two minutes in ITV dramas, so viewers are probably sitting nervously waiting for Kamini to catch them.
Anika almost discovering Saru adds another tense moment. The funniest irony is Rajat warning Saru that Anika is harmless and might expose them accidentally… while viewers are screaming at the screen because Anika is literally part of the entire criminal package.
The final portions belong completely to Kamini and Urmila’s confrontation. For the first time, Urmila slightly questions Kamini’s madness, but Kamini remains terrifyingly confident that Anika will rule Ved’s house no matter what happens.
Overall, the episode balances suspense, emotional scenes, manipulation, and madness quite well. The pacing remains engaging because the danger constantly feels close. Saru secretly planning from inside, Ved trying to protect the family, Rajat coordinating outside, and Kamini tightening control everywhere keeps the tension alive throughout.
And honestly, at this point viewers aren’t even waiting for the wedding to stop anymore.
They just want Kamini and Anika exposed in front of the entire family once and for all.
