Mannat 8th May 2026 Written Update: Vikrant Regrets Hurting Mannat
Today’s episode begins with the judge scolding Vikrant for losing his temper in the courtroom. She warns him that if he shouts at Mannat again, he may lose every chance of getting Dua’s custody. The judge postpones the hearing, leaving both families emotionally disturbed.
Outside the court, Neetu tries talking to Roni, but he ignores her completely. Meanwhile, Yashika feels relieved seeing Mannat and Vikrant constantly fighting over Dua. She thinks their relationship is breaking further apart and hopes they never reunite again.
Back home, Dhairya anxiously waits for Mannat. He believes Mannat would never fight against Vikrant strongly in court and assumes she might support him emotionally.
Soon, Vikrant returns home and immediately confronts Mannat. He angrily asks how she could humiliate him publicly in court and question whether he deserves to be Dua’s father.
Mannat loses her cool hearing this.
She fiercely asks Vikrant how he dared to file a custody case and try snatching Dua away from her. Mannat says she can never trust him again after everything that happened in the past. She reminds Vikrant that he even humiliated his own brother in court.
Vikrant defends himself and says he never lied during the hearing. According to him, Dhairya is trying to separate him from his own family by taking Mannat and Dua away.
He insists that Dhairya has no rights over Mannat or Dua.
Mannat immediately shuts him down and says Dhairya earned every right through his sacrifices and responsibilities. She reminds Vikrant that while he disappeared from her life, Dhairya stood beside her and raised Dua like his own daughter.
Their argument grows intense and emotional.
Neetu finally steps in and tells Mannat that Vikrant never abandoned her intentionally. She reveals that Aishwarya created misunderstandings between them and manipulated the entire situation.
Neetu says Mannat cannot punish Vikrant forever for someone else’s conspiracy.
However, she also clarifies that she is not insulting Dhairya’s sacrifices. She openly acknowledges that Dhairya protected the family and supported Dua selflessly for years. According to Neetu, Mannat and Dhairya only pretended to be husband and wife to protect Dua from society’s questions.
But now things have changed because Dua’s real father is back.
Neetu says Dhairya can remain Dua’s beloved tauji, but Vikrant is still her biological father and deserves his place in her life.
Mannat firmly reminds everyone that she is Dua’s mother and she alone will decide what is best for her daughter.
Neetu later assures Vikrant that Mannat will eventually return to him. Vikrant silently walks away while Dhairya grows more determined to fight for his family.
Dhairya tells Neetu that this house and this family belong to him emotionally too, and he will never allow anyone to break it apart. Neetu responds emotionally and says she will do anything for Vikrant’s happiness because he is her son.
Dhairya then makes a shocking statement.
He tells Neetu that Vikrant may not be connected to her by blood, but Dua is connected to him by blood because he is Vikrant’s brother. His emotional words leave Neetu silent for a moment.
Later, Vikrant sits alone regretting his harsh behavior. He remembers his happy moments with Mannat and Dua and feels guilty for letting things become so ugly.
At that moment, Dua walks in excitedly with her summer class project.
Vikrant becomes emotional seeing that Dua has described him as her superhero in the project. He thanks her and says it is the most beautiful gift he has ever received.
Dua sweetly calls him Babaji’s Banda and runs off to show the project to Mannat.
Vikrant feels overwhelmed with pride seeing Dua’s innocence and Mannat’s upbringing. He realizes how beautifully Mannat raised their daughter despite all the struggles.
Finally, Vikrant gathers courage and apologizes to Mannat. He admits that filing the court case was a desperate attempt to stop her from leaving the house. He says he only wants his family back.
But Mannat refuses to melt easily.
She scolds Vikrant for choosing legal battles instead of understanding her pain. Mannat says he has already taken the matter to court, so now they should wait for the final judgment instead of fighting emotionally every day.
The emotional episode ends with both Mannat and Vikrant standing heartbroken despite still loving each other deeply.
Precap: Mannat advises Vikrant to think about Dua’s happiness instead of winning the custody battle. She tells him that the final judgment will decide everything.
Review
Today’s episode focused heavily on emotional confrontations rather than courtroom drama. Mannat’s pain, Vikrant’s regret, and Dhairya’s silent heartbreak were portrayed strongly.
Dua remained the emotional soul of the episode. Her innocent “superhero” gesture softened Vikrant completely and added warmth amid the intense family conflict.
The custody battle is now turning into an emotional war where every character is carrying hidden guilt and unresolved love.
