Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 10th May 2026 Written Update: Abhira Supports Myra While Armaan Struggles To Heal Old Wounds
Today’s episode begins with an emotional moment between Abhira and Myra. Myra breaks down emotionally, and Abhira lovingly asks her not to hold back her tears. She gently tells Myra that mood swings are common and she should cry freely whenever she feels heavy inside.
Myra emotionally says she will smile only if Abhira stays with her forever. Her innocent words leave Abhira emotional. Abhira comforts her warmly and assures her that she is always there for her.
Meanwhile, Armaan notices Mukti looking upset and anxious. He asks if she really thinks Abhira will become disappointed because of her poor studies. Mukti emotionally says that almost everyone in the Poddar house is already upset with her. She feels guilty because Abhira struggled so much to give her a good education, but she still fails to perform well academically.
Armaan calmly consoles Mukti and encourages her not to lose confidence in herself.
Elsewhere, another huge family drama begins inside the Poddar house.
Abhira overhears Krish and Tanya arguing loudly inside their room. Tanya angrily confronts Krish for betraying the family repeatedly. She reveals that because of Krish, she had to hide the truth that he shared Myra’s location with Meher earlier.
Krish shamelessly tells Tanya that as his wife, it is her duty to support him no matter what he does.
Their loud fight gathers the entire Poddar family outside the room.
Kajal gets deeply hurt by Krish’s actions and decides to leave the house. Krish tries stopping her and asks her not to misunderstand him. But Tanya openly supports Kajal this time and refuses to defend Krish anymore.
Sanjay interferes and says he has done too much for the family to leave the house now. The tension keeps increasing rapidly.
Suddenly, Armaan completely loses his cool.
In anger, Armaan drags Krish outside the house and throws him out. Krish refuses to leave and continues creating a scene. Before matters become uglier, Abhira stops Armaan and asks him to let Krish go.
Armaan finally controls his anger and forgives Krish, but not before giving him a strict warning. Krish quickly runs back inside the house, escaping further humiliation.
After the ugly family drama, Armaan decides to focus on his relationship with Abhira and accompanies her to the counselor session.
At the counseling session, the counselor surprises both Abhira and Armaan with a strange task.
She gives them balloons and asks them to keep the balloons safe for three days.
Armaan gets confused and sarcastically asks if they were called there only to blow balloons like children.
The counselor calmly explains that relationships are delicate like balloons. If not handled carefully, they burst easily. She asks them to protect the balloons together as part of their healing exercise.
Armaan finds the task childish and starts making fun of it.
Abhira, however, takes the exercise seriously.
She asks Armaan whether he cannot change at least a little for her happiness. Abhira requests him to stop mocking everything and genuinely participate in the task.
Later, while returning, a small boy at the park starts crying after seeing Armaan’s balloon. The child stubbornly demands the balloon from him.
Armaan immediately refuses because he does not want to fail the counselor’s task.
The boy cries louder, creating an awkward scene.
The child’s mother questions Armaan for fighting with a little boy over a simple balloon. Still, Armaan refuses to hand it over.
Abhira quickly distracts the child and manages the situation peacefully before it turns embarrassing.
Both Armaan and Abhira then promise each other that they will protect the balloons carefully for the next three days.
Soon, both begin struggling with the silly yet emotionally symbolic task. The balloons slowly start reflecting the fragile state of their relationship too.
Despite all the tension, there are small moments where Abhira and Armaan unknowingly start behaving like partners again. Their emotional connection slowly appears to heal through these little exercises and shared responsibilities.
The episode beautifully balances emotional healing, family chaos, and silent relationship struggles without becoming overly dramatic.
Precap:
On Mother’s Day, Vidya emotionally says every child is celebrating with their mother while she feels lonely and unlucky. Abhira asks Armaan not to stay angry with Vidya forever. She reminds him that despite all her mistakes, Vidya always wanted the best for him. Abhira emotionally tells Armaan that if he continues ignoring Vidya, then she will die while living.
Review:
Today’s episode focused more on emotional healing than loud drama. The counselor’s balloon task looked simple on the surface but carried a deeper meaning about fragile relationships and emotional responsibility. Abhira once again emerged as the emotional backbone of the story while Armaan’s anger and pain continued showing his internal conflict.
Krish’s betrayal track is becoming repetitive now, but Tanya finally speaking against him added some freshness. The softer scenes between Abhira, Myra, Mukti, and Armaan brought warmth to the episode.
The upcoming Mother’s Day confrontation between Armaan and Vidya looks emotionally heavy and may finally push Armaan toward forgiveness.
Ratings:
8/10
The emotional depth, symbolic counseling track, and heartfelt Abhira-Armaan moments kept the episode engaging despite the repeated family drama.
