Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 13th May 2026 Written Update: Abhira Pushes Armaan Towards Vidya As Emotions Overflow

Today’s episode begins with Myra emotionally realizing the importance of a mother in every child’s life. She says a mother becomes both the first and last word for every person. Myra regrets hating her own mother earlier and calls herself foolish for not understanding a mother’s love. She apologizes to Abhira once again. Abhira lovingly asks her how many times she plans to apologize. Myra sweetly replies that she will keep apologizing forever. She hugs Abhira emotionally and says now Abhira is trapped in their “monkey love” and cannot leave them ever again.

Mukti also gets emotional and tells Abhira that though Abhira loves Myra the most, she too deeply loves her. Mukti says despite all circumstances, Abhira never treated her like a bad omen and always showered her with unconditional love. She emotionally wishes to become Abhira’s daughter for the next seven births so she can repay even one percent of Abhira’s sacrifices by taking care of her. Abhira immediately stops Mukti from becoming too emotional and hugs both her daughters tightly.

Abhira then opens up about the painful years she spent away from Myra. She recalls how scared she was that Meher might harm Mukti if she stayed close to them. Abhira says life finally feels peaceful now because both her daughters are with her. She emotionally wishes no mother ever gets separated from her children the way she suffered. According to Abhira, every mother deserves to live with her children happily.

Meanwhile, Abhira suddenly drags Armaan aside for an important conversation. Myra and Mukti become confused seeing Abhira leave the stage abruptly. Kaveri senses tension immediately and says something unpleasant is about to happen. Abhira firmly asks Armaan to talk to Vidya and stop avoiding her. Armaan gets upset and asks how Abhira can expect such a thing from him after everything Vidya did.

Abhira calmly explains that Vidya may never truly change, but she still wants peace for Armaan. She says Vidya hurt her deeply and never realized her mistakes, which is why she herself cannot forgive Vidya completely. Yet, despite the pain, Abhira says she cannot watch Armaan suffer endlessly because of unresolved emotions. She emotionally tells Armaan that Vidya may die without him if he continues staying away from her forever.

Myra and Mukti overhear Abhira’s emotional words and become shocked. Armaan still refuses to forgive Vidya. However, Abhira insists that even if forgiveness is impossible, at least he should speak to Vidya once. Her emotional request deeply affects Armaan internally.

Elsewhere, Vidya decides to destroy the shirt she specially prepared for Armaan. Just before she ruins it, Armaan arrives there unexpectedly and stops her. Vidya gets emotional seeing him and asks if he has finally returned. Armaan quietly says he only came to take the shirt. Before leaving, he takes Vidya’s blessings silently. Vidya becomes emotional and says her hope has returned with Armaan coming back into her life, even if only for a moment.

Later, Armaan completely breaks down emotionally. He cries his heart out in front of Kaveri and says Vidya’s actions left him emotionally shattered with nowhere to go. Kaveri comforts him and encourages him to let out all the pain buried inside him for years. Armaan finally allows himself to cry openly.

On the other side, lighter emotional moments unfold in the family too. Manisha proudly introduces Disha to her friends as a homemaker without any hesitation. Disha forgives Manisha for earlier misunderstandings. Aryan silently watches their emotional bonding. Manisha tells Disha never to believe that a mother-in-law cannot become a mother. Disha emotionally accepts that Manisha has truly become like a mother to her now.

Meanwhile, Armaan decides to celebrate Mother’s Day in memory of Shivani and Akshara. Abhira gets emotional remembering Akshara’s memories while Armaan recalls moments with Shivani. Their pain silently connects them again despite all their unresolved issues.

Myra and Mukti notice that even after so much emotional healing, Armaan and Abhira are still maintaining distance from each other. Myra says she cannot understand why they still refuse to accept their feelings. Mukti then comes up with a clever plan to bring them closer once again.

The girls organize a basketball match and deliberately place Armaan and Abhira on opposite teams. At the same time, both are still carrying the counselor’s balloons carefully as part of their relationship exercise. During the game, a woman almost gets hurt by a basketball. Without thinking about herself, Abhira rushes to save the woman and uses her balloon in the process. The balloon bursts immediately.

Armaan gets furious after seeing Abhira sacrifice the balloon so casually. Instead of listening to her explanation, he ignores her completely and angrily continues playing basketball. He asks Myra and Mukti to at least protect their own balloons carefully. Abhira tries explaining that she never intentionally burst the balloon, but Armaan remains hurt and upset.

Myra silently wonders why both Armaan and Abhira continue denying the love that is still clearly visible between them despite everything.

Review

Today’s episode beautifully balanced emotional healing, unresolved pain, and relationship tension. Abhira’s maturity in asking Armaan to reconnect with Vidya despite her own pain became the strongest emotional moment. Armaan’s breakdown and the emotional Mother’s Day memories added depth to the episode. Myra and Mukti once again stole hearts with their innocence and efforts to reunite Abhira and Armaan.

Ratings

9/10

The episode delivered strong emotional performances, meaningful family moments, and steady progress in Armaan and Abhira’s relationship journey. The balloon symbolism and emotional confrontations made the episode deeply engaging.
