Mangal Lakshmi 15th May 2026 Written Update: Shubhi Shocks Mangal by Confessing Love to Aarav
Today’s episode begins with Shubhi walking into Aarav’s room carrying a protein shake for him. Aarav gets surprised seeing her unusual care and jokingly asks whether she mixed poison in the drink.
But Shubhi looks serious.
She gathers courage and finally confesses that she has loved Aarav since the first day they met. She says she never revealed her feelings because he married Ishana, but now she can no longer hide her emotions.
Aarav gets curious and asks why she suddenly chose this moment to confess.
Shubhi emotionally reveals the reason behind her pain. She says she always considered Mangal as her mother, but during the bus accident Mangal chose to save Akshat instead of her. Shubhi feels abandoned and unwanted.
According to her, if Mangal never truly cared for her, then she should stop sacrificing her own happiness for others too.
In an emotional moment, Shubhi hugs Aarav tightly and asks him never to leave her. Aarav immediately plays along and tells her he also loves her. He promises that no matter how much Mangal and Ishana try separating them, he will never leave her side.
Unbeknownst to them, Mangal witnesses everything.
Mangal becomes furious and heartbroken seeing Shubhi come out of Aarav’s room. She stops her and questions what she was doing there. Mangal angrily reminds her that Aarav is not a good man but a dangerous manipulator.
But Shubhi shocks Mangal even more.
She coldly asks Mangal who she is to interfere in her personal life anymore. She pushes Mangal’s hand away and walks off while Aarav silently watches the growing conflict.
Elsewhere, Adit casually asks for juice before leaving the room. Sowmya secretly spikes the juice, thinking that once Adit drinks it, he will stop asking her to leave the house.
But her plan fails unexpectedly.
Shanti enters the hall feeling thirsty and unknowingly drinks the juice instead. Soon she starts feeling dizzy and disoriented. Sowmya gets horrified seeing her own plan backfire.
Kusum and Gayatri notice Shanti behaving strangely and quickly take her to rest inside a room.
Meanwhile, Mangal notices Ishana looking emotionally disturbed. She gently asks whether Aarav hurt her again. But Ishana immediately defends Aarav and argues with Mangal.
Ishana says misunderstandings happen in every relationship and insists Aarav would never betray her the way Adit betrayed Mangal.
Her words deeply hurt Mangal because she already witnessed Aarav accepting Shubhi’s confession earlier.
The episode then reveals a major flashback.
Mangal angrily confronts Jairaj for making Shubhi confess love to Aarav intentionally.
It is shown that Shubhi earlier visited Mangal in the hospital when she regained consciousness. Shubhi had revealed that Sowmya instructed her to remove Mangal’s oxygen mask while Jairaj told her to follow whatever Sowmya asked.
Surprisingly, Mangal herself asked Shubhi to remove the oxygen support as part of their secret plan.
Back in the present, Mangal tells Jairaj that although she understands why Shubhi is helping them secretly, she still cannot allow Shubhi to get emotionally close to Aarav.
Jairaj calmly explains that making Aarav trust Shubhi is necessary because it will help them monitor both Aarav and Sowmya closely.
Shubhi also reassures Mangal that she can handle the situation carefully.
Mangal finally agrees.
Later, Jairaj notices Mangal forgot to take her medicine. He immediately hands over her tablets and reminds her to take care of herself.
Mangal gets suspicious and asks how he knows about her medicines so well.
Jairaj softly replies that taking care of his agents is part of his duty.
Shubhi silently witnesses this emotional moment between them.
Elsewhere, Adit questions Kusum whether Jairaj and Mangal were ever emotionally close. Kusum denies it and reminds him that Jairaj always tried ruining Mangal’s business earlier.
Still, Adit recalls how worried Jairaj looked at the hospital while taking care of Mangal.
Meanwhile, Adit drinks coffee and suddenly starts feeling dizzy again because of Sowmya’s hidden manipulations. Sowmya quickly takes advantage of the situation and escorts him back to his room.
Later, Mangal informs Shubhi that Aarav and Ishana’s Haldi ceremony is tomorrow and before that they must expose Aarav’s true face in front of Ishana.
Shubhi agrees to support her mission.
During their conversation, Shubhi also mentions how genuinely concerned Jairaj looked for Mangal at the hospital. She says sometimes strangers become closer than family while loved ones turn distant.
Mangal silently reflects on her words.
The next morning, Adit wakes up shocked to find Sowmya sleeping beside him. He immediately questions what she is doing there.
Sowmya mischievously claims that he himself pulled her into bed last night. She flirts with him playfully and apologizes sweetly, leaving Adit confused and uncomfortable.
Meanwhile, Aarav arrives at the house grandly with raw haldi and dhol players for the upcoming Haldi ceremony. He hands over the haldi to Mangal and asks her to prepare everything for his wedding rituals with Ishana.
Mangal silently accepts while secretly planning Aarav’s downfall.
The episode ends with tension building before the explosive Haldi ceremony.

Today’s episode mixed emotional manipulation, hidden planning, and rising romantic tension very effectively. Shubhi’s fake confession drama added a shocking twist while Mangal’s secret alliance with Jairaj slowly becomes more interesting.
The emotional layers involving Mangal, Shubhi, Aarav, and Ishana are getting more complicated with every episode. Jairaj’s growing care for Mangal also added subtle emotional depth to the storyline.
The Haldi ceremony track now looks explosive because Aarav’s truth may finally come out publicly.
