Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan 16th May 2026 Written Update: Indu And Vimla’s Dangerous Alliance Begins. Shantanu comes to meet Sneha. He asks about Ganga. Sneha tells that Ganga has gone to Sahana’s house to give an invitation. Shantanu gets a gift for Sneha. He shows the diamond bracelet. She tells that it wasn’t needed. He makes her wear it. She tells that it’s beautiful. He tells that he will not distract Sneha from her studies. He leaves. Soni asks Sneha if she is happy. Madhu sees Siddhu and asks if he is happy. Sneha and Siddhu fake smiles and nod. Soni prays for a miracle that Siddhu and Sneha unite.
Siddhu tells Madhu that he doesn’t want Sneha’s life to get spoiled; he will move on with Purvi, but he can never forget Sneha. His dad hears his sorrow and feels sad. Sahana asks Kaali to leave her house. Kaali leaves. Ganga smiles and tells that Sahana has learnt to fight today. A lady praises Sahana. Kaushalya and Brij open the door when they see Ganga. They welcome Ganga.
The lady tells that Kaushalya didn’t see Sahana’s Durga avatar. Kaushalya acts sweetly. Indu gets the bail done and thinks Manohar has helped her. The inspector tells that Shambu has changed his statement and helped her. She asks who asked Shambu to do this. He tells that maybe her well-wisher did this. He gives a note to her. She checks it and reaches a location. She is stunned to see Vimla. She says Vimla is Shekhar’s mom. She asks why she wants to help her. Ganga invites Murli’s family to Sneha’s wedding. Brij tells that they will come.
Ganga requests them that she take Sahana home for a few days, so Sahana can spend time with Sneha and Soni. Kaushalya permits Sahana to go. Ganga thanks them. Vimla tells that she wants Sneha and Shantanu’s wedding to break. Indu asks why. Vimla tells that she has enmity with Durgavati, and she wants Sneha to marry Siddhu. She knows Durgavati hates Sneha.
Indu smiles and thinks she wants the same thing. She joins hands with Vimla. Vimla warns her not to hurt Ganga and Sneha. Indu agrees. She asks what her next plan is. Vimla tells that Siddhu loves Sneha, and when Sneha and Shantanu’s relationship breaks, then Siddhu will return to Sneha’s life. She smiles. Indu tells that she will handle Shantanu. Vimla thinks to show Siddhu the truth, that Durgavati has destroyed his love story. They smile. Sneha thinks of Siddhu and writes a letter to return his gift. Sahana comes and sees Sneha.

Madhu is shocked to hear about the fake jewellery.
Sarla tells that she is helpless to sell Purvi’s jewelry and send money to her husband. Purvi says that she will not give more of her jewelry sets. Sarla asks her to get ready and come downstairs. Indu comes home. She argues with Manohar. Durgavati shows the wedding invites to her husband. She asks Madhu to call Sarla. Sarla and Purvi come there. Durgavati tells that they have to leave for the temple. Madhu checks Purvi’s bag. She checks the diamond necklace and learns that it’s fake. She checks the other jewelry.
Purvi comes there. She sees Madhu. Madhu tells that she was checking Siddhu’s clothes. Purvi takes her bags and leaves. Madhu thinks of meeting the jeweller and finding the truth, before informing Durgavati. Parsa comes home. He sees Indu crying. Indu asks him to swear and say he won’t help Ganga and her daughters. He asks her to calm down. She swears that she will not let Ganga and her daughters live in peace.
Ganga and Durgavati come to the temple and pray. Indu comes there. She hides. Durgavati and Ganga give Siddhu and Sneha’s wedding invites to the Pandit. Indu hears the pandit saying that Siddhu and Sneha’s wedding is happening at the same place and on the same day. She gets a chance to lay a trap.

This episode of Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan quietly pushes the story into a darker and more dangerous phase. The emotional heartbreak is still present, but now the real game has shifted toward manipulation, hidden agendas, and psychological traps.
The strongest part of the episode is how Sneha and Siddhu mirror each other emotionally. Both are surrounded by people asking if they are happy, yet neither can answer honestly. Their fake smiles say more than long dialogues ever could. Siddhu admitting that he can move on with Purvi but never forget Sneha feels painfully real. The show is finally slowing down enough to let the heartbreak breathe instead of rushing through emotional scenes.
Shantanu continues to come across as caring and mature. His bracelet scene with Sneha is soft and respectful rather than forceful. That’s what makes the triangle more layered. The writers are not turning Shantanu into a villain for sympathy points. Instead, they are showing him as a genuinely good man, which makes Sneha’s emotional conflict stronger.
The biggest twist of the episode is definitely Vimla and Indu joining hands.
