Mannat 16th May 2026 Written Update: Dhairya Breaks Down as Mannat Chooses Vikrant Again
The episode starts with Vikrant emotionally apologizing to Mannat for all the pain he caused her. He admits that he made many decisions in anger and haste without thinking about the consequences. Vikrant tells Mannat that he deeply regrets everything, especially the custody battle and the misunderstandings that shattered their family.
He then asks Mannat a heartbreaking question. Vikrant asks whether she really plans to leave him forever again. He requests her to stay in the Saluja mansion with Dua and says Dua deserves the love of both her fathers.
Vikrant makes it clear that he will never force Dua to accept him immediately as her father. He only wants the right to watch his daughter grow up and be a small part of her life. Unknown to them, Dhairya overhears their conversation from outside and quietly walks away in pain.
Mannat tells Vikrant that what he wants is possible, but she cannot force Dhairya into anything. She reminds Vikrant that Dhairya is not just a part of Dua’s life but her baba, the man who raised her with unconditional love.
Mannat explains that she cannot betray Dhairya for the sake of her past love with Vikrant. She says it would be unfair because Dhairya stood beside her during her darkest phase. When Roni was broken emotionally, Dhairya supported him like a son. During her pregnancy, it was Dhairya who cared for her every single day. Dua shares a strong emotional bond with him.
Vikrant quietly agrees and says he understands everything. He promises he will not fight for rights anymore. He only wants a little space in Dua’s life because he loves her deeply.
Outside the room, Dhairya misunderstands the conversation completely. He assumes Mannat has accepted Vikrant back into her life and that soon Mannat and Dua will leave him forever. What hurts him most is that Mannat never discussed any of this with him beforehand.
Dhairya feels shattered.
Meanwhile, Neetu and Yashika arrive there. Neetu notices Dhairya standing silently with tears in his eyes. Taking advantage of the situation, she deliberately starts speaking loudly about how Mannat stayed beside Vikrant the entire night and never left him even once. She calls it true love.
Dhairya silently wipes his tears.
Neetu cruelly tells him that Vikrant has won in the end and that Dhairya should finally understand he never had a place in Mannat’s heart. According to her, Mannat only loves Vikrant and Dhairya is merely standing between them. She tells him to leave before Mannat herself throws him out of her life someday.
After Neetu leaves, Yashika continues poisoning Dhairya’s mind. She reminds him that she had warned him earlier that Mannat would eventually reunite with Vikrant. She says he refused to believe reality back then.
Dhairya remains completely heartbroken.
Later, Vikrant again speaks emotionally to Mannat. He says he understands he can never take Dhairya’s place in Dua’s heart, nor does he want to. He simply wishes to share fatherhood with Dhairya so Dua can receive love from both sides.
Mannat says she understands his feelings and promises to discuss everything with Dhairya properly. She confidently says Dhairya is understanding and mature enough to accept the truth.
Vikrant then hesitantly asks Mannat whether Dhairya has feelings for her.
Mannat reveals that Dhairya has always known about her feelings for Vikrant. She says Dhairya himself encouraged her many times to give Vikrant another chance. According to Mannat, Dhairya always knew that no one could replace Vikrant in her heart.
Elsewhere, Dhairya notices Roni looking disturbed and emotionally conflicted. Dhairya confronts him gently. Roni admits he feels torn because he loves both Vikrant and Dhairya deeply. He does not know whom to support anymore.
Roni’s words make Dhairya feel even more unwanted in the family.
At the same time, Vikrant happily talks to Mannat about rebuilding their family together. Mannat immediately clarifies that she will never stay in the Saluja mansion if Dhairya refuses to stay there too.
Vikrant promises her that he will wait patiently for her love no matter how long it takes. He says he is ready to fight for their relationship till his last breath.
The episode ends on an emotional note with Dhairya silently drowning in heartbreak while Vikrant and Mannat move closer once again.

Today’s episode focused heavily on emotional conflict and misunderstandings. Vikrant’s apology felt sincere, and for the first time, he appeared calmer and more mature about his relationship with Mannat and Dua.
The strongest emotional scenes belonged to Dhairya. His silent heartbreak while overhearing Mannat and Vikrant’s conversation was genuinely painful to watch. Neetu and Yashika’s manipulation made the situation even more tragic.
The story is now clearly moving toward a complicated family arrangement where love, sacrifice, and insecurity will collide intensely.
