Tum Dena Saath Mera 16th May 2026 Written Update: Rakshit Defends Aparajita as Ira’s Plan Fails
The episode begins with Rakshit addressing all the contestants before the saree competition officially starts. He announces that there will be four challenging rounds, and the winner’s saree will be offered to Goddess Narmada during the Narmada Jayanti celebrations.
Rakshit emotionally says this competition is not just about fashion or talent. For him, it is connected to his father’s legacy and dreams. He requests everyone to compete honestly with full dedication and warns them not to cheat under any circumstances.
Everyone claps for Rakshit’s speech.
Meanwhile, one contestant secretly looks at his bag and recalls how Param hired him earlier and handed him a suspicious liquid bottle for his hidden plan.
Soon, Mr. Dubey announces the first round of the competition.
The task is called “Guess the Fabric.”
He explains that every contestant will be blindfolded and must identify fabric samples only by touching them. Contestants need at least two correct answers to qualify for the next round.
At the same time, Ira quietly tells Isha that Aparajita must somehow get disqualified today no matter what.
Unfortunately for Ira, Mr. Dubey overhears their conversation and becomes suspicious.
The competition finally begins.
One by one, contestants attempt to identify fabrics while blindfolded. Nervousness starts increasing among everyone.
Soon, Aparajita’s turn arrives.
Isha escorts Aparajita onto the stage while Aparajita silently remembers Lalit’s constant insults and humiliation. Those painful memories only strengthen her determination to prove herself.
Ira impatiently taunts Aparajita and tells her not to waste everyone’s time.
Under pressure, Aparajita gives her first answer incorrectly.
Ira instantly smirks proudly, assuming Aparajita will fail.
But Aparajita calms herself and focuses harder. Her second answer turns out correct, making Reva extremely happy.
Seeing Aparajita slowly recovering, Ira secretly signals Isha to execute their next plan.
Just when Aparajita is trying to continue, Isha intentionally tries to make her fall on stage.
But before Aparajita can lose balance, Rakshit immediately catches her in his arms.
Ira stands shocked.
Rakshit quietly places Aparajita’s hand on his jacket and asks her to identify the fabric from it instead. Ira angrily questions Rakshit about what he is doing.
But Rakshit firmly asks Ira to stay quiet.
For a few emotional seconds, Rakshit and Aparajita remain close while staring at each other. Their silent chemistry becomes impossible to ignore. Even Aparajita gets affected by the moment despite trying to stay focused.
Finally, Aparajita confidently identifies the fabric correctly.
Mr. Dubey officially announces that Aparajita has qualified for the next round. Rakshit supports the decision immediately while Reva celebrates happily.
Elsewhere, Ramgopal emotionally tells Malti that he feels guilty for not being able to do anything for Aradhya anymore. Malti comforts him and reminds him that he only left his job because of his worsening eyesight. She encourages him not to lose hope.
Meanwhile, Lalit secretly overhears their conversation and quietly leaves with dangerous thoughts forming in his mind.
Back at the competition venue, Ira confronts Rakshit and accuses him of allowing cheating during the round.
But Rakshit shocks her by revealing that Mr. Dubey already informed him about Ira asking Isha to push Aparajita intentionally.
Ira quickly lies and denies everything.
Ignoring Ira completely, Rakshit asks Aparajita to come with him privately. Aparajita gets confused because the competition is still going on. Rakshit reminds her that as the CEO, he has every right to question contestants if needed.
He takes Aparajita away for another test.
Rakshit explains that since Aparajita had already touched his jacket earlier, he wants her to identify more fabrics to satisfy his doubts completely.
Aparajita immediately realizes Rakshit still doubts her honesty.
Feeling insulted, she asks him directly if he thinks she cheated.
Rakshit stubbornly says he can even disqualify her if he wants. Left with no option, Aparajita agrees to prove herself again.
Blindfolded once more, Aparajita successfully identifies every fabric correctly without making a single mistake.
Rakshit becomes speechless.
But instead of celebrating, Aparajita angrily scolds him. She says men always enjoy testing women repeatedly as if women constantly need to prove themselves.
She proudly declares that she will never step back from any challenge no matter how much society tries to stop her.
After giving Rakshit a strong reality check, Aparajita walks away confidently.
Reva, who secretly overhears everything, starts laughing seeing Rakshit completely speechless for once.
Rakshit awkwardly asks whom she is controlling. Reva simply laughs harder, teasing him indirectly about his growing feelings for Aparajita.
Meanwhile, Param’s hired man secretly confronts Ira and says the competition itself feels fake. He complains that winners are being decided unfairly and weaker contestants are getting easier fabrics to guess.
Before Ira can respond properly, Rakshit suddenly arrives there.
The man openly insults Rakshit and says Arvind was the true artist while Rakshit cannot even recognize genuine talent. He further claims protests will happen against this competition.
Soon chaos erupts.
Param’s men start creating a scene and breaking things around the venue. Rakshit desperately tries to stop the destruction while Ira panics and asks someone to call the police immediately.
In the middle of the chaos, one of the men throws the suspicious liquid bottle toward the stage.
But before disaster strikes, Aparajita quickly catches the bottle in time and saves everyone from a bigger problem.
The episode ends on a dramatic note as Rakshit silently watches Aparajita with growing admiration.

Rakshit and Aparajita’s chemistry is slowly becoming the strongest point of the show. Their scenes carried emotional warmth without unnecessary melodrama.
Ira’s jealousy and manipulation are also becoming more dangerous with each episode, but her plans continue failing because of Aparajita’s determination.
The competition track feels fresh, emotional, and entertaining at the same time.
