Udne Ki Aasha 17th May 2026 Written Update: Riya Leaves the House After Neetu’s Shocking Love Confession
The episode starts with Akash facing the biggest shock of his married life when Neetu openly confesses her love for him in front of everyone. Despite knowing very well that Akash is already married to Riya, Neetu shamelessly proposes to him and creates an extremely uncomfortable situation.
Akash stands stunned because for weeks, Riya had been warning him about Neetu’s growing emotional attachment. Riya repeatedly asked him to maintain professional boundaries and stop giving Neetu unnecessary emotional space. However, Akash always dismissed her concerns and believed she was overreacting.
Now, after Neetu’s public confession, Akash finally realizes how badly he ignored Riya’s discomfort.
Sachin and Sayali also agree that Akash made a serious mistake by not understanding Riya’s feelings earlier. Feeling embarrassed and emotionally disturbed, Akash quietly leaves the place with Riya and returns home.
Once they reach the Deshmukh house, Riya can no longer hide her pain and frustration. For the first time, she openly expresses how emotionally exhausted she has become inside the marriage and the family.

Renuka sadly comments that if Akash had worked with Riya at her restaurant instead of outside, such emotional complications may never have happened.
Even after realizing his mistake, Akash continues blaming Neetu’s obsession more than fully accepting his own fault, which shows his emotional confusion clearly.
Later at night, Sayali becomes emotional while thinking about Riya leaving the house. She feels deeply hurt seeing the Deshmukh family breaking apart slowly because of constant misunderstandings and emotional pain.
Sayali remembers how Tejas and Roshni’s divorce already damaged the family atmosphere, and now Riya’s departure has created another painful crack inside the household.
She breaks down emotionally and fears that all the dreams she once saw for the family’s happiness may never come true.
Sachin lovingly consoles Sayali and asks her not to lose hope. He assures her that difficult times never stay forever and one day everything will become normal again.
His comforting words finally calm Sayali a little.
