Mannat 20th May 2026 Written Update: Dhairya Hides His Pain as Vikrant Tries to Unite the Family

The episode starts with Dhairya emotionally telling Mannat that he needs some space to control his feelings. Mannat refuses to let him walk away so easily. She insists that he cannot leave the family in such a difficult phase. Vikrant also steps in and reminds Dhairya that Dua cannot stay without him. He tells Dhairya that abandoning everyone right now will only create more pain. Dhairya finally reveals that he will attend Vikrant and Mannat’s wedding before taking a break and leaving for some time. Before the conversation can continue, Dua arrives with complaints against Yuvi.

Dua becomes stubborn and says she wants to leave Saluja Mansion because Yuvi constantly tries to throw her out. Vikrant immediately confronts Yuvi after Bunty explains the entire situation. Yuvi feels ignored and complains that Vikrant cares more about Dua now. He even fears Vikrant might send him away to boarding school. Vikrant calms him down and explains that Dua is his daughter while Yuvi is equally important to him. He says families stay together and support each other. Vikrant asks Yuvi to accept Dua as family. Neetu and Yashika silently overhear everything from a distance.

Later, Dua remains firm about leaving the house. Dhairya sits beside her and shares Lord Krishna’s story. He explains how Krishna received love from both Devaki and Yashoda and never ignored either relationship. Dhairya gently tells Dua that she is lucky because she has two fathers who love her deeply. He says Vikrant truly cares for her and deserves a chance. Dhairya finally convinces Dua to accept Vikrant as her baba. Vikrant watches the emotional moment and feels relieved seeing Dua slowly opening her heart toward him.

Meanwhile, Vikrant discusses Dhairya’s decision with his parents. He feels disturbed knowing Dhairya still plans to leave. Roni decides to personally speak with Dhairya while asking Mannat to accompany him. Neetu creates another argument and insists they should allow Dhairya to leave. Vikrant loses patience and scolds Neetu for creating unnecessary problems again. Yashika quietly fuels Neetu’s insecurities while Mallika adds more confusion. Mallika points out that Mannat and Dhairya spent seven years together and built a strong bond. She indirectly questions whether Vikrant can truly replace that emotional connection. Her words leave Neetu overthinking once again.

Roni and Mannat later follow Dhairya to the police station. Dhairya emotionally looks at his police uniform before quietly surrendering his belongings. Unknown to them, Dhairya has secretly resigned from his job. When Mannat questions him, Dhairya lies and says he has only taken a long leave because of an undercover assignment. He hides his resignation and emotional breakdown from everyone. Roni notices something feels wrong. He senses Dhairya’s words and emotions do not match. Deep inside, Dhairya struggles to bury his pain while trying to prepare himself to leave the family he considers his own.

Elsewhere, Vikrant continues trying to strengthen his bond with Dua. He brings her cupcakes and patiently tries to clear misunderstandings between them. Dhairya also promises that no one can separate him emotionally from Dua because she will always remain part of his life. Yet his silence reveals something bigger is brewing within him. Roni becomes increasingly suspicious and starts feeling Dhairya is hiding something important from the family.

The episode ends on an emotional note with Dhairya quietly sacrificing his happiness while Vikrant fights hard to keep everyone together.

Precap:

Vikrant proposes marriage to Mannat. She accepts his proposal happily. Dhairya silently decides he will destroy their wedding.

Review

Today’s episode focused strongly on emotional conflict rather than dramatic twists. Dhairya’s silent heartbreak became the biggest highlight. His conversation with Dua added warmth and emotional depth. Vikrant’s efforts to balance relationships showed maturity, while Yashika and Mallika’s manipulation hinted at bigger problems ahead. The hidden resignation twist adds curiosity for upcoming episodes.

Rating: 4.3/5

An emotional family-centered episode with strong performances, silent sacrifices, and brewing tension before the wedding drama explodes.
