Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan 20th May 2026 Written Update: Siddhu Confronts Sneha’s Feelings. Pujari tells Siddhu that Durgavati is responsible for his destruction. Siddhu reacts in anger and slaps him. He refuses to believe anything against his mom. Pujari tells that he isn’t lying. Siddhu warns him and asks him to leave. He tells that Durgavati was taking him to Sneha’s place. He doesn’t want to doubt his mother. He tells Pujari that he will always trust Durgavati. He leaves. Pujari feels Siddhu has gone blind in love. He wants to unite Sneha and Siddhu. He tells that he will keep his friendship and foil Durgavati’s plan.
Shekhar asks Ganga why she looks worried. He advises her to focus on Sangeet. Soni and Ganga leave for the Sangeet ceremony. Shantanu thinks of asking Sneha if she loves him. The car breaks down. He checks the car. He tells that he will call the mechanic. She asks if she can check. He says no. He asks her to sit in the car. Siddhu and Chanchal are on the way. Ganga comes to the Sangeet hall and smiles seeing the arrangements.
She is shocked to see Durgavati there. She sends Soni and Shekhar. She greets Durgavati. Durgavati is shocked to see Sneha’s Sangeet ceremony banner. She asks if Sneha is getting married in the same hall. Ganga says yes. Siddhu sees Sneha and stops the car. Shantanu tells Siddhu that he always comes as a savior. Siddhu offers help. He tells that it’s his Sangeet today. Shantanu tells that it’s their Sangeet too.
Sneha feels awkward. Shantanu asks Siddhu to carry on, Bansi is sending a car for them. Siddhu learns that they are going to the same banquet hall. He tells that he will drop them. Shantanu tells that it’s a great coincidence, their Sangeet is at the same place. Siddhu asks them to come when their destination is the same. Sneha tells that their journeys are different now. Shantanu asks if they fought again. Siddhu says no.
Shantanu and Sneha sit in the car. He tells Siddhu that their emotions match a lot. Ganga tells that Om did the arrangements. Durgavati tells that she also didn’t know about it. She doesn’t want to change the wedding venue. Ganga tells that Sneha is on the way. She doesn’t want Sneha to learn Siddhu’s truth. She asks Durgavati to hide the banner. Indu comes there in disguise and watches their friendly drama. Durgavati asks Ganga not to worry. She asks Amarnath to remove Siddhu’s posters. Madhu looks on. Ganga thanks Durgavati.
Durgavati asks how long they will hide the truth. Shantanu tells Siddhu that their wedding is happening at the same venue on the same day. He asks Siddhu about his fiancée. Siddhu taunts Sneha. Shantanu tells that it’s a person’s bad luck if they don’t find Siddhu suitable. Sneha tells that one gets what’s written in fate. Her earring falls. Shantanu finds it. He tells that he will make her wear it. She refuses to take his help.
Siddhu looks on. Sahana and Paras come home. She thanks Paras and asks him to trust her, she isn’t doing anything wrong. She sees Murli and worries. He tells that he was calling her since long. Paras greets Murli. He tells that he took Sahana to take her help. He makes a story. Murli asks Sahana to go and change her clothes. Sahana goes. She thanks Paras again. Paras leaves. Sahana hides the bag. Siddhu, Sneha and Shantanu reach the venue. Indu sees them. Sneha goes to the makeup room.
Shantanu wishes all the best to Siddhu, and invites him to his Sangeet. Shantanu tells Ganga that Sneha will come soon. Ganga thinks of stopping Sneha from learning the truth. Siddhu stops Sneha. He confronts her for not seeing his pain and moving on. Indu meets Purvi and asks her to come with her. Siddhu argues with Sneha. He asks why she isn’t happy with Shantanu. He says he has failed in love and isn’t happy, just like her. She tells that she is happy. He asks her not to lie. Indu smiles, seeing their moment.
She asks Purvi to see their romantic moment. Sneha tells Siddhu that she doesn’t love him. He tells her that he loves her a lot. Purvi looks on, shocked. Siddhu asks Sneha to admit the truth. Ganga asks Bablu to see the guests. She stops Purvi and asks why she is worried. Indu doesn’t let Purvi reveal anything to Ganga. Sneha and Shantanu’s Sangeet begins. Sahana and Murli come. Indu thinks to sabotage Sneha’s wedding. Murli asks Sahana to take pictures with Kaushalya.
Kaushalya asks Sahana why she didn’t wear jewellery. Sahana gets upset and recalls Kaushalya’s deceit. Sarla goes to see Purvi. Sahana sees Purvi. She thinks that Durgavati has come to attend Sneha’s Sangeet. Purvi goes to scold Sneha. Shantanu compliments Sneha and feels lucky to have her. Sneha cries and recalls Siddhu’s words.

This episode works because it finally pushes emotional tension into uncomfortable territory instead of only stretching misunderstandings.
The strongest part is Siddhu refusing to believe Pujari. It feels frustrating, but believable. Siddhu blindly trusting Durgavati despite repeated warnings shows how deeply attached he is to his mother. His slap toward Pujari hurts more emotionally because Pujari is genuinely trying to save him. That scene lands well.
The banquet hall twist is classic drama writing, but effective. Two weddings, same venue, hidden truths, hidden banners, and both families desperately trying to prevent an explosion — that creates genuine suspense. The coincidence feels slightly dramatic even for TV standards, but it raises stakes properly.
Sneha’s line that their journeys are different now quietly becomes one of the episode’s strongest emotional moments. Siddhu offering help despite heartbreak also keeps his character sympathetic.
Indu continues doing what she does best — standing in shadows and creating chaos. Using Purvi as a weapon adds another layer of damage. Purvi witnessing Siddhu confess love again makes her insecurity finally feel justified instead of forced.
The weaker area is repetition. Siddhu and Sneha circle around the same emotional conflict repeatedly. He says she still loves him. She denies it. He pushes harder. She cries. Viewers have seen this loop many times already.
Shantanu continues looking like the “safe choice” rather than the emotionally compelling one. His scenes are sweet but still don’t carry Siddhu–Sneha intensity.
Ganga and Durgavati hiding truths while claiming they are protecting their children also adds irony. Their protection is creating bigger damage every day.
Overall: emotional impact is strong, suspense improves, Purvi’s arc finally gains weight, but Sneha–Siddhu scenes need progression instead of repetition.
