Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan 21st May 2026 Written Update: Purvi Plots A Fire Twist. Ganga tells Sneha that she is happy for her. Sneha tells that she is happy if Ganga is happy. Sahana comes and wishes Sneha. She tells that everything will be okay soon. Ganga asks Soni and Sahana to dance. They refuse. Murli tells that he will perform and keep the spirit alive. Murli and Shekhar dance with Shantanu. Shantanu asks Sneha to dance. Sneha imagines Siddhu with her. Purvi angrily burns Sneha’s lehenga, which was chosen by Siddhu. Indu gets scared seeing Purvi’s rage and leaves.
Everyone dances with Shantanu. Ganga looks for Sahana. Sahana sees Durgavati and thinks of speaking to her about returning the loan amount. Indu stops the lady from telling others about the fire. Ganga comes there and is shocked to see the fire. She shouts for help. She gets trapped. Shantanu and Sneha have a romantic dance. Sneha looks for Ganga. She asks Soni about Ganga. Soni tells that Ganga might have gone for some work. Ganga falls and gets hurt. Indu looks on and is glad. She shuts the door.
Durgavati sees Purvi and blesses her. She asks her to come and get the mehendi applied. She sees Siddhu going to Purvi. Siddhu asks Purvi where she was. She recalls burning Sneha’s dress. He asks her to apply mehendi later and come with him. He tells her that they will go to Sneha’s Sangeet, he will introduce Purvi as his fiancée and dance with her. Purvi asks if he is sure. She tells that she doesn’t want him to feel hurt. He tells that he wants to end this chapter today.
Kusum calls Kaushalya and asks her to come home. She tells that their 15 lakhs got stolen. Kaushalya is shocked. Kusum tells that she was at home, and doesn’t know how this happened. Kaushalya cries in shock. Brij speaks to Kusum and learns about the robbery. He is shocked. She asks him to call Murli. Brij and Kaushalya tell Murli that they have to go home, and check what was robbed. Murli asks how it happened. Ganga shouts for help. Pujari meets Sahana and asks her to come aside for an important talk. She asks what the matter is.
He tells that he misunderstood Sneha and blamed her for breaking Siddhu’s heart. She asks if he knows Durgavati has separated Sneha and Siddhu. Chanchal hears them. Sahana asks why Durgavati would make decisions about Siddhu’s life if he works on her farm. He tells that Siddhu doesn’t believe him. He adds that Siddhu can’t live without Sneha. Soni hears them and tells that she will help them unite Sneha and Siddhu. Sahana tells that she will talk to Durgavati. Pujari thanks her.
Indu tells that she didn’t want Ganga to die, but she can’t help it. Indu stumbles and falls. She sees the fire and coughs. She calls Manohar for help. Manohar comes there. He sees Ganga trapped in fire. He tries to help her. He sees Indu fallen aside. He runs to her. He thinks about who to save first. He tells Ganga that he will help Indu and come. Sneha tells Shantanu that she will go and see Ganga. She leaves. Siddhu gets Purvi there. He sees the smoke. He asks Shantanu where Sneha is. Shantanu tells that Sneha has gone to find Ganga.
Siddhu asks Purvi to go. Purvi asks him to come along. He tells that he has to save people. Sahana meets Madhu. She tells that she has to talk to Durgavati. Madhu goes to Durgavati and tells that Sahana wants to talk to her. Durgavati goes to Sahana. The man informs them about the fire breaking out in the other hall. Durgavati asks Madhu to stay with her dad. Sahana runs to see Ganga.
Durgavati also rushes to see Ganga’s family. Siddhu and Shantanu rush to the fire spot. Murli learns about the fire and worries about Sahana. Manohar asks Ganga to have some water. He goes to Indu. Murli finds Sahana. Kaushalya asks Murli to worry about the robbery. Murli tells that he will see Ganga and Sneha. Sneha sees Ganga trapped in the fire and is shocked.

This episode does a better job balancing emotional drama and plot movement than some recent tracks. The fire sequence finally raises stakes beyond the usual Sneha–Siddhu pain cycle.
The strongest point is Purvi. Her burning Sneha’s lehenga feels like the first time her insecurity becomes dangerous instead of just emotional. It shows how deeply jealousy and fear are affecting her. Indu getting scared seeing Purvi’s anger is also interesting because even Indu looks uncomfortable when someone becomes more unpredictable than her.
Ganga getting trapped in the fire creates urgency the story needed. For many episodes, misunderstandings kept stretching. Here, danger feels real. Manohar choosing between Indu and Ganga is also a strong moral conflict. His hesitation reflects his confused loyalties well.
Sahana’s track continues becoming one of the better written portions. She is no longer just reacting. She is actively trying to solve things. Her attempt to speak to Durgavati gives viewers hope that the truth may finally move forward.
The emotional highlight is Siddhu deciding to take Purvi to Sneha’s Sangeet to close the chapter. It sounds mature on paper, but viewers know Siddhu is emotionally nowhere near healed. That makes his decision tragic rather than strong. Purvi sensing his pain adds realism.
The weaker side remains repetition around Sneha. Her emotional space feels stuck. Imagining Siddhu while dancing with Shantanu again reminds viewers she is emotionally frozen. The story risks making her look passive while other characters push the plot.
Indu continues being chaos personified. Closing the door while Ganga is trapped takes her villain arc into darker territory. At this point, she feels less grey and more fully destructive.
The biggest positive is pacing. Multiple tracks move together — Purvi’s jealousy, Sahana’s truth mission, Siddhu’s emotional conflict, Indu’s schemes, and Ganga’s fire accident.
